This app does not work well consistently enough to use it. Too bad because it would be the best if it worked well.

UPDATE: As of today, 11/28/21, the app has been basically out of commission for weeks! Stations won’t open or, if they do, they won’t play. Since I’m going through a serious health issue, this app has been my go to for comfort and taking my mind off my problems. Plus I like to listen to it before I go to sleep. Every time I open the app, I hope it’s fixed but nope!! Please, please fix it!! I gave this 5 stars before even though it wasn’t working because it really is the best old radio show app. I emailed the developer and he got back to me letting me know it would be fixed and today it is! I love the different stations to choose from and the fact it has a sleep timer. I listen to it everyday and listen before I go to sleep. It’s THE BEST!! Show more

Once again, seems there are issues with a streaming list provider. However, several web sites seem to be able to broadcast without issues. I love this app when it's working, but it needs some consistency. Would be great if the problem areas could be bypassed. Show more

It’s a great app! And the best free app out there!! Give if a try you’ve got nothing to lose!!!

Even listening for years, a few hiccups but for the most part consistent. Gunsmoke is my favorite.

So relaxing

Really enjoy being able to just shut my eyes and listen to a radio play from yesteryear. Takes some imagination. Only one time did I sign on and the menu of station offerings not match what was being broadcast. Every other time, it was perfect. The menu is a great asset in finding exactly what you want to listen to (Boston Blackie, Sherlock Holmes, or big band music, etc--and I'm talking about a lot of stations). If I could only have one app, this would be it. I must have written the above a long time ago. Lately of the very many “stations”, about 33, only 3 would connect. I was going to give a low rating, but now, today, June 24, 2021, every station is working. I sure enjoy listening to rebroadcasts of WW2 broadcasts, Boston Blackie, Dragnet, and miss them a lot when the stations fail to connect. I repeat, if I could only have one app, this would be it. The app used to be great, but in the last month it has gotten terrible. The app has been totally neglected. There are links to feeds that have been shut down for years. Within the last month there have been a number of feeds that work intermittently and others that just stopped working at all. It’s not worth listening to any more. Show more

This was my favorite old time radio streamer when it worked. Unfortunately it has so many bugs it’s become impossible to actually find anything that will stream.

Amazing app there’s some times difficulties but over all the app is perfect

I absolutely love this app.So many stations to choose from , easy to use, 24/7 programs, what’s not to love.

Most other OTR apps are not well designed or so buggy you finally give up and delete it. This one will pleasantly surprise you. It’s been trouble free from the beginning. You can immediately start listening to your favorite programs with it’s user friendly interface. Show more

What happened to the Jean Shepherd stream?

It has trouble keeping connections at times, but my wife and I LOVE this app and listen to it almost daily, sometimes for 8 hours at a stretch.

Love listening to Jean Shepherd, but it’s not available now! Had placed in my favorites and today it is gone! Please bring Shep’s radio show back! Thank you!

The app is nice and I love that it exists, but a few things would improve the app dramatically, like a show schedule or maybe even a episode selection. Even if these are not possible, the app is still really nice, thank you for making it. Show more

I have been listening to this ap for about 3 yrs now.. it is awesome. I especially love that I can set a timer for it to turn off....AWESOME!!!! I listen to it every night to fall asleep! Please keep up the wonderful job! I have listened to several other apps,but they cannot compare in the least bit. I like the OTR on my satellite radio, which I listen to in my car, but this beats it by far....thank you!! Show more
