I tune pianos and this app greatly helps me to set the temperament. It works much better than using tuning forks.

I've used this both as a sound generator (to test mic pickup) and as a hearing check. In the latter use, I discovered a "notch" of deafness in my right ear at about 1960 Hz. This was not picked up by a different app that specializes in hearing testing, so I was grateful for this app showing it to me. You can be sure I'll be discussing it with my doctor. Show more

This update crashes on a iPad Air2 when changing screens. I'm certain the dev will fix this up till now superb app. uninstalled-reboot-reinstalled fixed this...now all is well.
