    Constant crashen when syncing.
Gonig to get a refund. Didn’t work for my AK120ii. Gave the developer over a week to fix the syncing issue, where Dapper would crash upon reading the playlist files before copyng over files. Show more

    Excellent App
I’ve had Dapper for just a little over a year now. I am operating in a MAC environment and my primary DAP is the SONY NW ZX100. I’ve had multiple ipod’s (160gb) in the past and about a year ago began converting my music, of nearly 1 TB, to mini SD cards for DAP (Digital Auio Player). I have been very happy with Dapper. Yeah it’s time consuming to transfer all the music, but the App is relatively easy to use and works well. I’ve had a couple issues and had to contact the developer and each time the issue was solved quicky. The service and response time was impeccable. I have nothing of words of praise for Dapper and am very happy to have this App to manage my music and knowing that the developer stands by his product is reassuring and impressive. Highly recommended. Show more

    Fantastic App and Helpful Support
This is a great app for syncing high definition digital audio players with iTunes libraries. (There is also a feature that allows the user to sync DSD and FLAC files, as well.) Dapper is the by far the most user-friendly syncing option for Mac users that I have found. I love playlists, and Dapper allows me to create playlists on Itunes and sync them with my player with the ease of clicking a button. Customer support is very accessible and helpful as well. I highly recommend it. Show more

    Everything Solved
Thanks to this app, I am able to use a Fiio X1 player with the iTunes playlist I built up over years of using an iPod. I had some problems with speed and with a relative handful of items that somehow didn’t show up in playlists that I brought in, and one by one, Map Pin has knocked these problems down. They really stuck with it, and the present version of the app is fast and comprehensive: it addresses all of my concerns. Total satisfaction! Show more

    Exactly what I needed
I was looking for an app to use with my Fiio X1 that could handle my existing iTunes library and the new HiRes files I started buying. I tried jRiver Media Center which was much more than I needed and the sync support was just not working. Dapper lets me use my existing iTunes library as-is, has presets for my X1 that set it up exactly as I would want it to, and lets me include the HiRes files that iTunes won’t store. The only glitch with setting it up is I store my music on an external drive and it took a few tries to get it working. It showed multiple copies of my iTunes library with the same modified date, but once I picked the right one, it worked like a charm. So far it’s been a really solid app that does exactly what I need it to. Show more

    Use on Fiio
A good program to get playlists on the Fiio. But difficult to use.

    Sort of worked once, then….
This seemed to be working perfectly until it aborted the sync because of too many errors. The app said that the songs that it DID sync were on the DAP but nothing was on the DAP. After a second attempt to launch the program, I could not get it to do anything at all. I even deleted the app and re-downloded, re-formatted the SD, and updated the firmware. Nothing happened. Finally gave up and just did it the old fashioned way and dragged all of the music from the iTunes folder. I recommend that you save the money and avaoid the hassle and do the same. Show more

    Works Great
Works exactly as intended. Not sure what problem Paranoiajack ran in to, but I have my iTunes media folder on a separate drive and this app works fine for me: I have my iTunes folder (with the XML file, ITL file, etc.) on my local drive but the actual media folder (with the music files) on an external drive. This is a great app, as I needed the smart playlist functionality of iTunes to manage my library and needed an easy way to sync them to my DAP. Show more

    Very Limited application
I’ve got a Fiio X1 which this program is supposed to be able to sync to. However, if you keep your music files on an external hard drive, it won’t work. You HAVE to be using the iTunes folder on you book disk. It’s kind of silly. I have too much music for my internal hard drive and keep there, so I use an external. The program, no matter where you tell it to look for the Dapper playlists, will always default back to the boot disk’s iTunes/music/media directory, even if it’s empty. Waste of money. Show more

great product a little confusing at times
I use this with the FIIO X5 and it does make things easier but I have a bit of trouble getting it to recognize both SD cards but watching the youtube videos by Dapper’s creator really helps. I always used an ipod before now. Show more

Doesn’t work and this is only way to contact
The app is expensive, compared to similar. It syncs okay but it does not write the playlists even after trying every conceivable tweak including rebooting etc. The demo at the developers web site was outdated(?) and gave an error message refusing to load, so with some trepidation I purchased this. Apple needs to hold the developers responsible enough to offer customer service. What is probably a simple bug report now feels like a rip off. Show more

    Nice Utility
This app makes loading file onto your device very easy. Using iTunes smart playlists, loading or unloading tracks is handled without having to drag and drop and it keeps a database of what’s loaded. I think it could be faster by not showing the album art while scanning, but I have an old machine. It’s nice that you have the option to review what’s going to happen before any transfer or deletion occurs. Show more

    Love it so far!
This App allows you to synch music from the your iTunes database easily. It took a while to learn but I just synched two large playlists (AAC & ALAC) with metadata to my FiiO X-1. Zero problems. If you own a hi-res DAP & use iTunes, this App will get them to play nice with each other. Get it! Show more

    Dapper
As a new user to a Fiio DAC/DAP…this app makes the file transfer extremely easy, can’t say enough good things about it use with iTunes.

This is only for ITunes. Can’t manage flac or other files
The idea of having a DAP is that it allows for high-quality music reproduction, including lossless files such as FLAC, which is one of the most used lossless compression formats. ITunes can’t read FLAC, ergo Dapper can´t work with this format. This program is basically an interface to use ITunes in a DAP other than an IPOD. If your music is in ITunes and you want to keep up with this program, it will work well. If not, don’t bother. Show more

    Pono player syncing magic
Syncing iTunes playlists with my Pono DAP using the provided software was proving to be challenging. Having an Apple iTunes ecosystem in place for my music management I needed to look elsewhere. Found Dapper and could not be happier. Dapper syncs iTunes playlists to the Pono DAP simply and without issue. Auto eject of the Pono drives at completion of a successful sync and a slider control for balancing file storage between onboard and internal SD storage are great features. Dapper makes file synchronization with iTunes and the Pono DAP a breeze! No longer do I need to maintain two music library management systems. Highly recommended. Show more

    Great idea, if it worked
Getting one’s files into a non-iPod DAP/DAC is a big pain. What’s needed is exactly what Dapper claims to provide: a way to transfer files from ITunes to the player so that all the files remain organized. Dapper even purports to do playlists as well. However, I was not able implement this program on my MacBook Pro (Yosemite). Contacted customer support who told me that several days to download my files was the fault of the player. Eventually, it didn’t work at all. Support was ultra frustrating. They gave me a refund. I tried manually organizing my files: 10K files plus…no thanks. So I stupidly bought the app store version. Even worse. Sorry, but it just doesnt work and customer support won’t help you through. They will give you the “Nick the company computer guy” treatment though. Show more
