Not able to use app with Omni have all access subscription

Seems to be disconnecting sometimes

12/13/19 update: Still no radio.com. Original Review: I use the app for several hours each week and have 5 Omni speakers spread around in my home with 2 more on order. I just upgraded to version 5.11.190918 so I could finally pair Radio.com with the ipad polk app. All I get is an error saying it’s not available in my country. I’m one of the few people left living in Illinois, so that can’t be right. I hope they fix this before Christmas. Show more

Almost impossible to use the XM radio part of the app, can’t search for different XM channels a error is thrown each time “error fetching Genres” failed to download Genres.. bottom line if you wish to use XM radio with Polk omni system You Can’t.. Show more

App works ok wish the whole system worked with Apple Music streaming. I do use Amazon Music so that works fine.

Every once in a while a speaker needs to be reinitialized but other than that all is good in the Polk world. The Polk speakers continue to amaze guests with their amazing sound quality for the size. Show more

Speakers do sound good. Linking two speakers works ok has only dropped once. Easy speaker set up. The app though stinks. Presets don’t work right. Only 1x speed for podcasts. My playlists don’t show in Amazon Music through this app. I-heart in this app is much clunkier than in the actual iHeart app. I may regift the speakers because of the app alone. I bought speakers mainly for podcasts in the morning. Show more

App used to connect to SiriusXM, but no it states “error downloading genres”. Absolutely useless for music now.

App is horrible. Outdated and unreliable

Had my sound bar connected to my WiFi until one day it decided not to work anymore. Tried and tried to reconnect and nothing. I guess I spent all this money on a plain old sound bar that does nothing other than play the sound that comes out of my tv. Also, when it did work it would lose connection a lot and the music would cut in and out. Show more

Like many others I agree. The sound quality is great on the very rare times it connects and works! Gave up on the rear speakers and now just use the sound bar. There are times though that the sound bar thinks I still have the rear speakers and digital audio signals get messed up. Very annoying experience Show more

It’s not possible to connect to Pandora. App send message that Pandora’s certificate is expired and server is fake. Impossible to connect. Pandora works just fine with all other apps except this one. Then now it’s not connecting to wifi at all. Show more

Wasted hours using this app trying to set up my Polk speaker with no luck. Downloaded the DTS Play fi app and was up and running in minutes. It’s a shame that Polk does not appear to be updating/paying attention to the negative feedback on their app. Great speaker but lousy app. Go generic Play fi and you’ll be happier. Show more

Doesn’t connect to my Polk speaker at all. I even connected it to wired internet and the app still doesn’t recognize it on my network.

Pairing is almost impossible. Deleting a room or location... can not figure that out. The software has almost no features such as power on and off. Disappointed. The plastic remote...worn through buttons, cheaply built. Disappointed. I have to manually turn it on and off, etc. if I am missing something simple please advise. Show more

Not sure what the problem is...... I cannot get the speaker to play more than 2-3 songs before it just stops. I have to swipe up on the app and re-open the app and connect to the speaker before another song will play. Speaker sounds great but I don’t know how to play any music fro My phone without this terrible app. Can anyone tell me how? Thanks. Show more

Polk needs to make the app better it does not work well with voiceover and from what other people say it does not work well visually. Not the best app in the world. However the speakers sound better than Sonos is. The app not so much. Show more

I’ve always loved Polk products but this app is horrid. Takes forever to setup your surround sound, can’t use more than 2 rears for surround, cant adjust volume on individual speakers like you can when you stream music on Pandora, can barely hear anything on rears during surround sound. Awful, just awful Show more
