    I keep hoping for more
The app is OK, but not what I expected as part of an expensive headphone package. Some aspects are fairly intuitive, but others need some real improvement. I don't know if it would have been any good, but I was at least intrigued by the idea of all the custom settings created by professionals. The short list is just that - short. Also, Parrot -finally- added a battery widget. Only, it's a separate widget and not the sort that works with the Apple battery widget where all my other Bluetooth batteries show up. Why?? Why can't the battery level of my headphones show up with all the other batteries instead of cluttering my widget space for just the one line? Even my car stereo shows up in the Apple battery widget, which is wholly unnecessary. I suppose I just expected better and more frequent improvements as it's a fairly costly device that actually allows for improvements through app and firmware updates. *Also, as a new bug, the app is dropping connection to my headphones. They're still playing audio, but when I launch the app it shows that no device is connected, so cannot access controls or battery info. The battery widget, too, does not show data. iPhone 6s iOS 10.1.1 as of 2 Dec 2016. Show more

...really, doesn't run on iphone 4
Honestly, I didn't think the app was that great in the get place. I love the headphones, just wish you could adjust settings on it without the app (the simple stuff) seeing how it already has a touch interface. The app is rough around the edges, the per-song equalizer is tough to set-up and I don't know why you'd even want it. The headphones aren't perfect, but so far they work and the noise cancelation is pretty good (the noise canceling starts making funny noises when it's low on battery and it's really annoying). But, since this new update, my iphone 4 is unable to run the app (crashes before reaching the home screen), but this sit really a shot at Parrot, mostly apples terrible support for their older products. Anyways, I find these headphones aren't perfect, but totally geeky, and if your willing to deal with hitches you'll love em. If you want bluetooth headphones that connect when you turn them and just work, look elsewhere (Bose quiet comfort, A range of Sony headphones, or even Audio Technica for those more sound quality oriented). Please update the app to work with new Apple update!
Called Parrot customer service because all of the sudden my Zik 3's were connected to BT but the app is showing "no device found" (for weeks). Rep told me that it was because of Apple 9.3.1 update. This needs to be fixed ASAP, as it is the only way to adjust settings on these $400 headphones. Disappointed that an app driven device is unusable because Parrot cannot keep up...PLEASE UPDATE ASAP! This really is unacceptable for an item at this price level. Show more

    DO NOT BUY ZIK
The app won't even open. Now I can't adjust the settings of the headphones because all sound alterations happen within the app. Wish I could get my money back.

    Fix now please
App doesn't even open anymore. These guys need to stop farting around with drones and focus on making quality products. Not impressed after what was paid for them.

Go into settings to fix noise cancelling
I thought the latest update broke noise cancelling, but it looks like it is turned off by default. go into the settings and adjust the DB and it started working again. Worked for me anyways. Show more

    Broken app
The app was corrupted. I fix it by removing the app and reinstalling it. Bad.

    If Bluetooth isn't bad enough.,,
This app no longer even launches. Before that, is was 50/50 if the headphones would pair at all , or charge. I paid WHAT for these headphones?

    This app is getting annoying
It's 50/50 whether this app will work or not at any given time. The headphones are nice but they rely on this buggy app to shine. Starting to get rather annoyed at this doggy app Show more

    I can't open the app

    CEO
Had 2 pair of sennheiser bluetooth noise canceling wireless - exceptional phones - tried the parrot zik - very frustrating experience. Bluetooth connection never works. For the price they charge for these headphones they need to get their act together. Back to sennheiser for true quality and consistency. Show more

    V1.0 app was better
I owned two pairs of Zik 1.0 headphones. From a hardware perspective, I like the 2.0 pair I purchased a month ago. From a software perspective, I wish I could use the previous companion app. The new app appears to be the creation of a graphic designer, not a product person. The interface is too flashy and NOT intuitive. An equivalent app experience would make the decision to buy the 2.0 headphones a no-brainer. As it stands, I can't recommend upgrading because the app makes equalizer changes needlessly difficult and doesn't seems to provide automatic power off settings the way the previous app did. Also, I fundamentally disagree with the requirement of creating what seems like a social media account to edit my presets. Judging from the very small number of presets shared by actual artists anyone has heard of, this is a failed experiment. Let me make easy changes to the settings on the fly and give me Lou Reed presets back. Happy to update review if any forward progress is made. Show more

    Works as advertised
Headphones paired instantly with my iPhone 6. No complains about the Zik 2.0 or the app over the short time I've been using them.

    Older version was more intuitive
Not sure who these app developers think their audience is! I spend a ton of money on these upgrades and the older ones were better! The app was easy to customize. Who cares what the artist wants the equilizer settings to be! I hope Parrot upgrades its app to reflect the easily customizable features that we bought these excellent sounding headphones for. So far this app is VERY disappointing. Maybe over time I might like it better but at this time I feel "arrogance" the way the interface is presented! Gimme back my old app version! Show more
