First let me say that this is a very good app for musicians. It supports scrolling and it’s very easy to adjust the scroll speed even on the fly. I had a bit of trouble with the sync function and contacted Tim the developer. He responded right away and worked with me until it was solved even to the point of a phone call on a Sunday morning. I’ve been using Setlist Helper since 2017-ish, and migrated everything to iOS from Android within the past few months or so. I really like how you’ve streamlined the lyrics/chords editing process and made searching for all the necessary info so straightforward. It’s almost plug and play now. Kudos to you, Tim! Moving forward, I would love to see you implement a few features that would be a huge boon to some of us. I like having the master song list, but I think it would be useful to expand upon the tagging, such that instead of being limited by set lists that correspond to gigs/venues/times, I can make smaller lists that are specific to each band I’m in. And from those lists, a check box/select feature would be useful to choose songs for specific gigs. Once my database is done, it’ll have like 500 songs altogether—and I have trouble remembering which ones overlap into multiple groups. Also, the gray hue of dark mode isn’t quite dark enough. Could you add perhaps a VERY dark mode with your next update? Keep up the awesome work, and thank you so much for eliminating the tedium of mine. ?? Show more

Worked great until i opened it up this week and all my songs are gone. Phone has been backed up and it will no longer import songs. I have a show in two days and this has really put me and the band in a pinch. I have some fill ins that do not know the songs by heart so they needed this but now it’s all gone. I will be deleting it and finding something reliable. The more i researched this app the more bad things I’ve found about it than good. Show more

It seems the app only recognizes.pdf files. How do you download .docx files? The app is worthless without this feature. Saving all your files as .pdf files just ain’t gonna work. It does let you batch download pdf files, but you can’t edit the things one they are in the app. Show more

Don't get me wrong...this app is awesome except for two things.... 1) there's no contact info for the developer that I can find ( did I blow past it...let me know). So when I have a problem like the one I am having now (I can't upload pdf's from my Dropbox account...oh I can navigate to the file in question and select it, which puts a check mark by it but.....no "ok" or "upload" or "yeah that's the one" button to click on that I can find) there's no way to get help. 2) uploading 1 pdf at a time? Really? There really needs to be a separate function outside of the song edit screen where you can import a whole block of pdf's. Then when in song edit mode you are simply selecting from an existing pdf base. Anyway, if I can get an answer ( from anyone) to item one, this rating get's updated immediately to a 4 star. You get the 5th star when batch pdf uploading is added. Love the app. A little frustrated at the moment but every other aspect of this app kicks all the other set list apps to the curb. Cheers. Having no luck with this app at all. Downloaded 2 songs and got a message “download complete”. Now I cant exit the screen to see what was downloaded.

Will not open on my iPad

This took me forever to figure out and it won’t let you upload a whole long list of songs, just set lists. and where it says add multiple songs at once, no. You can’t. It doesn’t recognize them. Waste of money. Better off using Microsoft word myself Show more

Not worth the $6. No functionality here your iPad doesn’t already do

I’ve been using SetlistHelper for over 6 years as an Android app, as well as the Web App. I’ve played around with others but none compare to SLH. Every musician I’ve shown this app is blown away and immediately buy it. One of the best features is when adding songs via the Android or iPad app, you can search the web and import the new song complete with either lyrics or chords. Just brilliant. Nice to see there is an iPad app. Great Job! Show more

Searching for a song on iPad is inconvenient due to the picture recognition pop up. The Android version works without this additional step. If you are on stage in a hurry use an Android device. Otherwise an Excellent APP! Show more
