With this app I can control all kinds of things in Ableton on desktop. The really cool thing though, is this app and its recent updates had made it a must buy for working in iOS. The matrix mode is hot and being able to launch midi clips in an ableton session like view and have it generate melodic ideas and stay in scale etc is fire. Had this for years and never wrote a review, with the new updates I had to. Looking forward to how far you guys can take this! Show more

As the title says…please add option to work this app in vertical view as well. Horizontal view is ok but when you are working with a lot of scenes in session view, I would like to be able to see the scenes stacked vertically instead of in horizontal mode. Thank you:) Show more

This is a ‘tailor made’ app for Ableton Live and it works exactly as advertised. I was one of the ones mad about having to purchase every feature separately but then it immediately made sense. They let you try every midi controllers to its fullest and gives you the option to buy it. This idea is godsend! You won’t find this specific behaviour in that many apps (I don’t know about a single one). Now let’s talk about the features. Let me just say I purchased each and every feature set they had to offer even though I only end up using only half of it. Why? Quality! Aaand maybe I wanted to support the developers seeing how approachable they are, willing to help every troubled users. And the app, well every single thing just works! Or do they? Well, like with every other midi controller apps, this one also suffers from the occasional hiccups when connecting to your computer for the first time. For example: I can’t connect mine wirelessly anymore even though I was able to before iOS 16 came out. Other than that, this as good as it gets. You have nothing to lose, download and try it! Buy if you like it. Simple as that. You won’t find another equivalent app that can top this. And the devs are actual human beings who will reach out and help you if you face any issues. Show more

This app is so good if you’re an iPad music producer, especially if you like the DAW-less, non-linear way of composing (ie. clip launching) and putting songs together that way. Using it as the sequencer for your MIDI-capable groovebox of choice, and more, is the way to go imo, and perfect for using in “modular” apps like Audiobus, ApeMatrix, AUM, etc. to build full songs in. And it has all the MIDI controllers you need at your disposal, a one-stop MIDI shop available if you purchase all the IAP’s or just buy whatever you need! I’m happy to have it all myself! On top of all that the developers are super responsive on the Audiob.us forum (and I’m sure wherever you can engage with them) and frequently update the app with improvements. And this review doesn’t cover it all, just what I use it for, so make sure you check out all the features, and really, just go ahead and try it for yourself! Show more

The App simply doesn’t work on newer Apple machines. Support is useless as the developer is in Portugal. Look elsewhere.

I am using LK with Ableton Live 11 running Kontakt. I purchased the Matrix and Keyboard to run Live sound therapy sessions and so far it is working great on my old iPad 4. Eliminated the need for me to transport a MIDI controller when running around. Have not used it to record but for running live sessions it works great so far! Will keep experimenting with the app but I really like it for what I needed - a way to play clips and adjust volume on the fly. Thanks! Show more

I’ve followed the UBridge tutorials and I’m stumped, I have it all set up on the PC end, but my IPhone will not make a connection to UBridge..

This is a nice software however it is very annoying to have these pop ups asking me to unlock the matrix which I have purchase. It would be good if the tech team would kindly rectify this annoying issue. Show more

Lovin’ what I’m seeing so far. I used this app years ago for Ableton deleted it, now I’m coming back to it. Nice upgrade! Clear layout, important functions accounted for. It’s so wonderful to move around my studio to record different instruments in different parts of the room. I’ll be using this in live settings too! Did have an issue with Ubridge not seeing the iPad, but a restart of both apps fixed that. Not a big fan of the major components needing to be purchased separately. Outside of that, all is good. Works great in AUM or Loopy Pro to open up new workflow possibilities. The sequencer/clip launcher has a lot of deep functionality, so you’ll definitely want to read the manual, but it’s worth the effort and a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. Show more

Fantastic app. It is now my main controller for many things. One issue I have is there is no multiple track selection and as a result overused the able to select multiple tracks. I have to close the able in order to do any multiple track editing. Small issue that’s actually really annoying on this diamond jewel of an app Show more

The color chooser does not seem to work on the controller page. This may have broken since the latest update. And speaking of color….I wish we choose the color of individual drum pads. ? Thanks! Show more

I’m very impressed with this app. Initially I was skeptical about connectivity and how interface might work with my workflow. Been extremely pleased with how reliably it seems to work, with minimal fuss, and set up was a piece of cake. No conflicts with other controllers, also a surprise. Using app on iPad--and iPhone in a pinch--both robust. Show more

Took a bit to get it up and running, but it’s working great as a remote abelton live controller. However, it keeps prompting to buy each section after I already purchased. Right after I buy again, it says you already purchased and if I want to buy again for free… I click yes and it works again only to prompt again later. I hope I am not being charged multiple times.
