Until the latest updates, it was working perfectly on my 4S under 8.3. Upgrading the OS on the 4S renders it virtually useless. I understand the need to support newer hardware and software, it's just very unfortunate the decision was made to phase out the existing equipment and software that worked just fine. And yes, I happen to have a newer phone with the newest shiny iOS. I just don't believe in throwing out a piece of technology because it's old. Show more

Wow, this is so great! I'm now chillin' in bed blasting songs on my speakers, connected to my computer, from my phone! Great app!

Meh. Unlike other remote apps, there is no ability to browse through your media library. All you can do is skip, pause, and change volume.

Everything works as expected except for global volume control, which is very buggy. I use Boom as a system-wide equalizer, and if volume is reduced to zero it doesn’t turn up again from within TodayRemote. Would love to see this fixed! Response time is a little slow on occasion, and if the connection remained up a little longer after the Today screen is closed, it would be useful for switching songs/adjusting volume in quick succession. This app is ideal for my home entertainment system. I use my MacBook Pro as the main receiver and have it connected to speakers. This app filled the missing link in the chain: a remote. I can control the music from anywhere in my house with ease. Works perfectly so far! Show more
