I somehow missed this offering until I saw a recent sale. This is a crucial app for any ambient or soundscape maker. Whatever that means. Basically it's phenomenal for crafting very unusual and expressive soundscapes. What a marvelously simple to use app. Easy to use, but also very capable of complicated soundscapes and lively scenes from the serene, surreal drones to the spasmodic and glitchy happy accidents. Amazingly unique app with a lot of depth. Like all of the apps from this dev, this one is well thought out and flawlessly implemented. The spatial mixer is genius for creating evolving multi-dimensional soundscapes. A must have for anyone making dark ambient, glitch, noise, or experimental music. Show more

*Edit for first update: Wow. One of the single best content updates I've ever gotten from an app. Still having a blast and will continue to do so. So happy to stumble upon this new release. Altispace is such a quality reverb, I immediately purchased it. After an hour of experiments with my own samples, the app is technically solid (run through multi-chain audiobus channels out to Cubasis and DAW, both with no problems; IAA was smooth as well [iPad Air 1, latency 256 only due to the hog that is TeraSynth]). The app title says it all. If you're in any way interested in creating soundscapes, this is easy to pick up and instantly achieve interesting results (thanks random buttons!). A single bass drum sample and gated synth chord got me a great eerie drone with a train-like chug. Very easy to get lost in but still come out on the other side with usable material. As highly recommended as the developers' other apps. Show more

For a long while now Borderlands Granular has been one of my favorite sonic texture tools but due to certain limitations a real advance in that realm has been overdue. It has, however, been worth the wait for this one. I am well familiar with the series of apps from iMusicalbum and can attest to the richness and quality of sound compared to others like them. A highly configurable interface and a bit challenging but this is very refreshing after 1000+ music apps; most are variations on a few different ideas with very few taking advantage of the touch screen interface or putting any real imagination into their work. Hats off to this one for stepping it up! Show more

I originally bought this app just to support the developer ( his other apps are superb as well) but quickly lost myself in the sonic mayhem! Haven't quite got my head around all this app will do but find myself going back to it, if even for a short time, each day since its purchase! Well done! Show more

If you want to create sounds you've never heard before, this is it.

Been looking for an app that goes beyond basic sample manipulation and filtering for some time. Coming from the old school, this is like having an Publison Infernal Machine 90 and a Cyclosonic panner without the headaches. The sonic palette generated from the address trigger buss is limitless fun. Very inspired. Great stuff Igor! Show more

This is a fun app! Most of the reviews/talk about this app go on about the ambient/atmospheric/soundscapes it can create. And rightly so. But I have also found this app good for making old beats into new beats. This app has more than one trick up its sleeve. Show more
