I spent a long time searching for what I needed - a way to import and organize a digital version of my guitar songbooks. I took photos of the pages I wanted, saved them as PDFs, then imported them into the app via my iPad. Now I have an entire library of organized sheet music. The app even has a freakin’ built in metronome! My search is over, this app does exactly what I need, highly recommend. Show more

This is a great music reader app for the iPad. I use it all the time for performing and it makes performing so much easier than trying to deal with sheet music. It’s easy to use, easy to import files in PDF format, and very easy to arrange files into Setlists. Show more

Really love this app.

Found this accidentally. But fabulous. Can add inpages from my pdf sheet music and mark up with text or notes as I develop my arrangement. Can mark with the pencil and save. Worth every penny. Bought a page turner so I can play without a pause. Really happy with this new tool to accelerate my Jazz learning. Show more

I bought an IPad Pro so the music is bigger and now all my music is blank when I open them.

This combined with a page turner gavel me exactly what I needed. Upload your pdf files, mark them up if you wish, and organize them into set lists. Perfect! :-) Show more

I found this app useful and emailed some suggestions to the creator, who was very receptive. Now the app has become my go-to for organizing my large collection of scans and photos of tunes. The key field now includes modes beyond major and minor. I use the Genre field to specify jigs, reels, polkas, waltzes, etc. The ability to search for titles is great, and when I can’t remember the tune name, I can limit the search by Genre, key, etc. The ability to make text notes and musical notation on the music (in a variety of colors) is invaluable. I also love being able to have multiple pages for a title, which I use to have multiple transcriptions of different musicians versions of tunes. Show more

My wife and I use an Irig Page Turner for our live music and large song list. The page turner is awesome. The app that comes with it is terrible. This app worked flawlessly with the pager turner and is so much easier to use. Literally saved us days of work. Show more

Well hurray for paperless music. They were very quick to respond to my review and point out where to find info on how to use tracks. I am busily reading that section now and hope to add the functionality to my paperless music, since my chorus provides practice tracks for our parts and this would make the app nigh on perfect. This app manages 100s of pages of sheet music effortlessly for me. It is easy to load music, whether from PDF files or from the iPad’s camera. I use the genre field to separate the music from the three bands I play in, and I use the key field to identify which of my Bb or C trumpets the piece is scored. These and other fields make it easy to filter, to build playlists, etc. as intended or as needed! Finger taps work fine to change the page, but I love having a Bluetooth 2-button pedal to move forward and backward through the pages within a song, and between pieces in a playlist. Editing music to incorporate the conductor’s comments or to highlight key changes or accidentals or whatever is quite easy on the fly with a pallet of common markings that can be dragged in place on the music, or using he on or highlighter tool with your finger (or iPad pencil), easily changing pen color or line width. It is easy to zoom in with “pinching” to ensure markups go right where needed, even when scribbling with a fat finger. The software creator has been very responsive to questions and to suggestions, and actively keeps updating the software. Show more

There is no way for me to import PDFs into the app. I tried files directly from my iPad and from Google drive. Neither worked. I just spent money on a useless app. Show more

Great App, but is there anyway to organize the music so that you can scroll through it in list form instead of scrolling through the actual images of the chord sheets? The thumbnails get annoying when you have over a thousand chord sheets Show more

Can anyone help me figure out why my documents on iCloud or on my IPad are grey’d out when I try to import them into the app???????

Thank you! This app is perfect — works great, looks great, is flexible and full-featured, is smooth and intuitive to use. I also appreciate the clean uncluttered interface. I’m using it for choral singing, and also with a foot pedal page turner for instrumental music. I’m planning on gradually transferring all my scores, fake books, etc. A great value at a fair price. Has changed the way I play in our praise band (in a good way)!

Imagine my dismay when for some reason Paperless Music wasn't importing any documents from any source-AirDrop, Documents, etc... Yep, full blown panic! But there's a happy ending to this story. I've come to rely heavily on Paperless Music for jams, gigs, sharing, and just about anything to do using printed music, even other documents that I can't mark up using Adobe. So when I lost the ability to import new documents I immediately reached out to Paperless Music for help. Within an hour I had my first response from PM Support probing for more information to further define the problem. One more e-mail and a video confirmed the illness and a prescription that solved the problem was immediately sent and implemented. DONE! In this day and age it's darn right rare to get that level of service. I continue to be very satisfied with the program AND the support that I have received. If you're on the fence about whether to purchase Paperless Music let my experience convince you that this is the program for you. It certainly is for me. Thanks Paperless Music for a great program and stellar support! (PS: The failure I encountered was probably due to a problem caused by a file I imported. Archiving all my files, deleting the program and reinstalling it and importing the archived files gave me a fresh start. However, DON'T do this at home without first contacting Customer Support. Great application for music charts. Om my iPad, it is used with a Bluetooth page turner for a hands free operation. Makes reading charts while playing so much easier.

I used Paperless Music for my masters recital. It is very user-friendly! I have used other similar apps and this is the best so far.
