    Okay for beginners, super buggy
Isn’t keeping track of time correctly, often says you strum when you haven’t/ haven’t strummed when you have. Pretty cool otherwise, good for learning chords, but the bugs can be very irritating Show more

    Great to learn guitar
I don’t have time right now to find an instructor and go to a lesson so this is a great way to learn on my own. I enjoy the structure of the lessons and the ratings. The complaint I have is the warm ups pull in chords I don’t know at all and are too hard (the bar chords are really hard for me. I have pretty small hands). Otherwise love this app. Show more

Awesome app but there’s a bug I noticed
This app is awesome to learn new chords and chord voicings but the keyboard when searching for chords is very buggy

It’s a fun app with loads of lessons.
I’m having an amazing time with Uberchord the best thing about it is the versatility, which allows you to chose pace and rhythm and so much more!

    IPad issues
The app picks up the sound of my guitar on my iPhone, but the sound of my guitar will not register on my iPad. Frustrating!

It’s free it’s easy and there’s no ads or membership you just need an account and I’m just beginning and it’s really easy to start. I just hope you don’t need to pay for a membership Show more

    Potential
Great idea for an app, but it picks up on its own beats destroying the learners accuracy

One of the finest apps on the App Store. In any category. Pure genius. Buy it

    Great, but not perfect.
100% new guitarist here; only been playing for two weeks & have used this app from the start everyday at least 20 minutes. I’ve learned well over 10 chords (far from perfect) & am gaining confidence quickly. The app isn’t super perfect though. I do feel lost sometimes before I start a new course but I do figure things out quickly, I don’t know if everyone else could. I think there should be more explanations in course lessons like there are in the Editor section so beginners can know why and not just how. Also, the rhythm trainings; you can just tap your foot & not even play the proper sound and it’ll register as correct. It would be great if there was a setting for those who want to challenge themselves and play the correct sounds along with the correct timing. Lastly, a picture or video of a hand switching fingerings for chords would be great for visual learners. I find it difficult but still rewarding to have to figure out the fastest/best way to switch chords while still consistently getting it right while still learning something new; I don’t know if other users would like to do all of that though. Even with those faults, I still did fork over my money for the subscription & I say it is well worth it. It’s hard for me to put down my guitar (but that finger pain) because it feels like good to work my way through the courses & I actually am learning a lot as I go. I’m definitely trying to finish everything perfectly before my year subscription is up so I hope they update it with more courses over time!! Show more
