It just works fine. Example: I just put my GSMini in the case and put in the closet (there’s a reason) and I “dropped” it a little as I was working it in. No thought about it until I got the warning of impact. This hasn’t happened before so I don’t believe that it is overly sensitive. Another other time it was in a stand and a student knocked it over. No damage but it did remind me. The humidity sensor matches the unit in the room. Having a battery gauge helps also. Again, it works just fine ;-) Show more

This simple replacement for the battery case adds humidity and bump alerts. It seems to work. I use An-Mann 9v rechargeables and they last quite a while.

It’s nice to know the condition of the guitar at a glance. We live in North Western Colorado where it is usually very arid and keeping a guitar humidified is an almost constant effort, so I am very pleased with my purchase. Installation was pretty easy as well! Show more

I’ve had guitars in the past that have been impacted by the large swings in humidity that we experience seasonally in the northeast (US). I added a whole house humidifier to help the situation, but it only runs when the heat or AC are actively running. The TaylorSense closes the loop by allowing me to continuously monitor the humidity of the instrument and take action when it gets out of the desired range. Thank you Taylor! Show more
