I’ve tried a bunch of these apps to split and merge some audio files and I couldn’t find one that actually worked for me. This one did the trick. Worked great. Show more

There are a couple of minor issues that I have seen so far. - It will only split an audio file into 10 pieces, so you may need to split and then re-split. - In the info pane, the text of the file name does not wrap. One feature that I really appreciate is how the newly created files are named. The start and stop times that you assign are appended to the original file name. So, when you finish, the new files are in order and ready for bulk renaming. Show more

Does not complete joining files, stops short. Until that problem is addressed this is useless to me. Also that anoying rate request. Kill it after the first time. Show more

Converting large multi-hour mp3 audio books can result in the final split file being truncated. Enough of an issue that I have moved on to another tool.
