In order for this app to be made more useful and meaningful it needs more chords and many,many more bars. Tracking is often impoverished when attempting to sequence two eight bar sequences. Hopefully the creator will take notice! Show more

This team knows what they are doing. Simple and effective design that delivers, informs, and gets out of the way of creative flow. Beautiful to see and use. The recent addition of the save feature makes this an indispensable tool for developing simple chord progressions. It's limited to 8 bars and 10 chords (related to selected key), so you won't be writing an entire song in one phrase, but you can easily sketch out ideas. Show more

Quick and simple creation of short songs. Quick and easy to try different possibilities with immediate feedback, even change Chords and Phases while its playing. It's Useful as it is, but when Save/Load is added you'll definitely get a 5star from me. Other additions and improvements, will just be more icing on the cake. Show more

Updating my review. A solid four stars. Five when it saves. Like addition of the sine wave. Like to see progress with good apps.

For those of us who never learned to play an instrument as a child, it is really hard to ever get music theory. I have tried reading about it but it doesn't click without something hands-on. This app quickly gives you a sense of some basics like what a chord progression is and how different ones sound. Maybe more importantly it is fun to play with so you keep trying new things and learning more about how basic songs work. Love it! Show more
