First off, this mic is a great quality-build mic--one that I firmly believe in--especially, with the Sennheiser Brand. However, when I upgraded the IOS a few builds back to the now current 10.2.1, everything abruptly, decided to stop working. I have a IPhone 5S btw and I deleted on my hardware and in the cloud and the result has been less than favorable. I also, tried the app/hardware on my wife's IPhone 6 and the same disappointing results. I reached out to technical support via chat, which seemed prolonged at 20 minutes--only to be cut-off in the middle of the trouble-shooting--and to no avail, I could not get a definitive response back (through chatting), although my advisor was aware of my situation and what steps I had followed. $199 for a portable microphone is a reasonable price when you look at the overall features and Brand. I am disappointed, in that I own several high-end prosumer mics for studio use and location, and now my options are somewhat minimized for portable use. I would perhaps, try another brand that gives me a digital connection or switch to the Zoom Brand. Show more

I plugged in my new Sennheiser clip mic digital and recorded great. Then the next time I went to record MetaRecorder doesn't recognize the mic. It is possible the iOS update 10.2 was done so that may have something to do with it. Show more

I've used this app to replace a lot of my audio recording tools when doing video shoots. With a few Sennheiserheiser lavs and the apogee one and mic, I get broadcast quality audio on my smartphone. Show more

This is by far the best, I mean BEST mobile recorder I have EVER laid my hands on! I am an aspiring sound designer looking to get into field recording and the audio quality is phenomenal! I tested footsteps, sparkling water pops and voice. I am astounded how clear the audio quality is! 48k 24bit, level monitoring. This is an amazing investment for starting out. I am looking to purchase a portable field recorder as this is the career path I need to invest in, but I will use this until the time being! Thank you! Wonderful product! Show more

The Watch App is the reason I got the ClipMic. I'd like a complication though and Watch OS 3 optimization to make this work seamlessly with my Series 2 Watch.

I did a 12 minute recording session with this app. Go to transfer to my computer all that transfered was the meta data. Go back to the app and its as if the first take never happened! I'm furious. How can I trust this app ever again? Show more

I'm shocked that app on one device does not work as a remote for another device. Master/satellite works in some way but records on both devices. Remote comes only on iwatch but not many people have iwatches. Please make a remote app and I'll give 5 stars. Show more

The app shows up blacked out on my phone and will not allow you to open the program. I have also tried to delete the program in order to reinstall and it won't even delete. Please fix! Show more

This app is great for simple recorder functions. Great field recorder app or simply use it for remembering memos like I do. Export to Dropbox is so easy!

This was a wonderful app since the update. I have an iPad Air 2, and have lost hours of session work...twice. It crashes, then won't do anything be open to a frozen screen and crash again. Pleeeeeeeeease fix this!! Show more
