When using Sustain pedal, you can hear static
I was exited to get this app. I paid 36 dollars, and when I play a song on that piano, I can hear static. I think that paying 36 dollars for a piano app and then heading the static while you play is a waste of money. Show more

    Needs some work
The IPad version sounds alot thinner than the Mac version. I hope they do an upgrade to improve the iPad iOS version. Kinda sounds like a Gerneral MIDI piano.

Aka I MPK midi no longer works with the app
Great app! Though my AKAI mini keyboard no longer works with this app. (IOS). It worked great in the past. The keyboard still works with all my other apps. Show more

Plays well but a little clunky.
I like the sound, although a few improvements could be made there too, but it’s clunky getting in and out out MIDI. And generally not super smooth. I prefer Ravenscroft but when I need a piano app, usually reach for iPiano because when I’m ready to play, the tech can’t be a distraction. Show more

    Very responsive and adjustable!
I am enjoying the Ravenscroft 275 piano more and more as I get to know it. It sounds phenomenal on its own and I’m looking forward to playing it in an ensemble….an amazing instrument to have on the iPhone. Not long ago I played a gig using a 49 note controller and an old electric piano module… this would’ve been so much better. Looking forward to getting the laptop version in the future. Show more

    Decent sound. But, highly overrated!
When I first purchased Ravenscroft 275 I was quite disappointed with the sound. When I played with greater velocity it never seemed to deliver the percussive, brighter hammer action sound I felt it should have. And no matter how I adjusted the two Velocity parameters in the App I was disappointed. Well, my M-Audio Keystation 88 began to have problems with a few keys loosing their velocity. And this keyboard had no internal way to adjust the velocity sensitivity. That was totally dependent on the software. I replaced the Keystation 88 with the Nektar LX88+ which does have internal adjustment of velocity. It allows the full spectrum of the Ravenscroft 275 to come through. I am now more satisfied with the resulting sound. However, it still lacks a realistic hammer attack in the sound. The main thing this has going for it is sympathetic resonance. I seriously feel I get a more satisfying result with several pianos from iGrand and SampleTank. Being some of the early releases of sampled pianos for IOS, they lack sympathetic resonance. But with careful blending of some reverb that can help, somewhat, in that area. The other shortcoming of iGrand is a 64 note polyphony limitation. I have several of the major acoustic pianos for IOS. But, I still tend to favor the pianos in iGrand and SampleTank. Show more

    Doesn’t work through garage band
I paid way too much for this app for it to not work through my Mehdi keyboard through garage band. What a scam

    Quite impressive
This is one of the best piano vst for iOS. Amazing tone. As a pianist who has played some of the best acoustic pianos I can say I like the sound. However, it’s missing half pedaling. Still very much recommended though. Well done. Show more

Great sounding piano, bad customer service.
It gets 3 stars cause it sounds great. I am running it on the most recent iPad Air 4th gen I think ?‍♀️ when I split the piano roll it cuts off 1/2 of the keys rendering this feature unusable. I notified the developer, had a back and forth, sent screeenshots let them know it was up to date and gave them all the pertinent info so they could fix this problem and about six months later....crickets. Still can’t even use the app as it was intended. Show more
