Received more than 64 app-blocking ads in the span of 10 minutes while using the app. The cost to remove ads? $15-24 annual subscription. LOL NO. Extremely user hostile.

Apllication is ok or a free program, but oddly doesn't have a selection for "Compiliation."

Bait and Switch. Not free. Commiting sin to get people to use your app is reason enough to never pay you.

Yeah its definitely not free as using the free part of the program is pretty unusable. Pop ups stops processing and bugs you all the time. Title is VERY desinformative. About 20 % of artist and song tagging it gets completely wrong 90% of artworks it constantly gets wrong, or it plasters the same David Bowie artwork over all the titles I would maybe pay 10 bucks for a program that has not been updated in the last 6 years, but I will not renew my subscription or pay the full 80 bucks. Updated meta info for around 20 files and saved. All the files got corrupted and not opening anymore. Not in preview, VLC, QT or Apple Music.

I have a few songs that I need to add metadata to and it is really helpful. Sandisk mp3 music players require metadata or it tries to load it itself which causes issues with refreshing the media (and gets an annoying stuck screen). Show more

Not useful for the fee’s they want and they way they go about “baiting and switching you”. Would have paid a few buck for a simple easy to use app, but these folks have lost it. This thing is expensive for what it does, and how simple is it. They are many more so much and less expensive. Avoid these people. Show more

Did exactly as advertised

Dropped in a dozen mp3s and it sits there, says preparing to load or whatever... nothing happens.

There is a free version. It is an absolutely miserable experience to use due to the nagging popups that say "buy our stuff for only $2 a month." Okay no problem I can do that, it's only $2. However, after I signed up for this app (and accepted the dark pattern of automatically recurring billing), the popup window continued to to interrupt saves. Now instead of a happy customer who just might forget to cancel their subscription and allow the developer to rake in a few more bucks I am writing a review in anger and initiating the process to request a refund. Tried a couple of tracks, so far so mostly good. However, it seems to have trouble with the tags created by aacgain.

Apple Music / iTunes is broken for Metadata or Metatag editing with music. I downloaded the free version of Tag Editor Free on my Mac, filled in the fields and saved the files. When I opened one of the files in Apple Music, none of my data was saved. Some of the data is visible in Quicktime, but the artwork was not. Show more

This app saved me big time when it came to managing audiobook metadata after iTunes was discontinued. Docked a star for annoying popups, but functionality is great.

I just downloaded the free version to my main computer. I have been using this app for years on another. It does the job, easy, and since I don’t use it every day, more like once a month, it is wonderful for my use. I am simply changing locations for the little work I do on it finally, so I don’t have to jump from one computer to another. If you simply want to add or update tags, then it is great and I recommend it. Show more
