There's no way to update. I'm still using the factory drive. I can't update it anymore.

While I do enjoy the simplicity of the app, it’s kind of too basic. I have the JBL extreme 3 and I have an iPhone. The app doesn’t have an equalizer (5.6.7) and iPhone’s music EQ is factually a joke. So the speaker is always a bit flat in sound (clear though). Otherwise I have no use for the app. Show more

My Charge 5 worked perfectly before I connected it to this app and updated it. Now I have to reset my speaker every day by holding down play and volume up. It wouldn’t turn off for 3 days last week until I found the “press power 5 times” reset on Reddit. I tried all the other resets. I’m so mad that the update was a downgrade and now I’m not sure how to roll it back. Show more

Half the time when I open the app, it will just sit there on the loading screen for as long as I let it sit there when it does work about one and 10 times it does work Show more

No matter what I've tried, the app finds my Xtremme speaker, then it says "Sorry, we are unable to connect your speaker to the app". I even reset to factory defaults, paired and unpaired like 20 times. Please fix this! Show more

This is by far the superior speaker… and I have owned every brand… this is quality.. worth every cent

I have the Boombox 3 model speaker and with this dedicated application I cannot see the exact amount of battery charge and the battery indicator of the application only shows its approximate value and the second problem with this application is the automatic deactivation of the device after a certain time that Uses. Good phone, not too old. New app installation. Brand new speaker. Restarted / reconnected everything half a dozen times. All my other BT stuff works fine. Seems like garbage to me. App Store says this is the one to buy but Clip 3 isn’t in the supported device list. Show more

Junk app. It says searching for product 80% of the time. Only a slight bass increase with app when it does work. Just a junk app to collect user data.

Installed app on android and iOS and both xtreme 3 show different versions and it state’s software is updated. Is there a way to do a force check?

I wish the settings to my JBL Pulse 4 lights could stay dim instead of reopening the app whenever turning it on an doing it manually

love the speaker, i always want to use it. it would be easier sometimes to be able to turn it off from my phone tho, maybe theres a way to but i havent figured it out yet, but if there isnt maybe consider making that a thing JBL? Show more

Top notch product. I own two. My only caveat is that the balance between bass and treble could use some improvement.

They obviously don’t care. Tired of it. App has not worked once since the update came out. Just stuck on “searching for speaker” then “getting things ready” and repeat

Awesome speakers and I enjoy the update because you can adjust the way your speaker sounds but I wish they would add an option on the app where you could turn the speakers without manually turning it off. Besides that JBL speakers sound fantastic but it just needs that one small option on the app. Show more
