I play French horn and have been trying to find my range, this allowed me to see that I could play an a above the staff, however, it would not go past low f when I tried to play low notes, o have been able to play the c below that consistently, but it will not show. So I have a alto saxophone I am trying to tune & compared to all t(e other tuners this is a good one it just didn’t have alto saxophone.

The app is great but I play Cello, Clarinet, and piano and one day I when to tune my band piano and I came to realize that there where band and orchestra instruments but there was no piano and having my piano not tuned during class didn’t sound real good compared to everyone else. So I am suggesting that you add piano to the mix of instruments PLEASE!!! Thank you Show more

I play tuba, and have used this app for a few years now, but there has always been one problem. It had a very hard time detecting notes lower than A flat, please fix this Show more

Honestly, I love this app, I am a clarinet player and seeing what the app looks like on the bar makes it so much easier when checking to see if I am playing the right notes. Personally if I had to suggest anything it would be to have a metronome built into the app so I dont have to keep switching apps. When I say I loved this app I mean I LOVED THIS APP. I used it constantly to make sure I was singing on pitch, to test what high note I just hit, to test my range, etc etc. It made me a better and smarter singer. However, when I changed phones (Now an iPhone XR), it no longer lets me use it for voice (treble). Because the menu fits differently on this phone, it’s at the very bottom, beyond my reach. I can’t scroll down, it just selects whatever instrument on the side I hit. I’m disappointed because I miss using this app but because of one tech mishap it’s become completely useless to me. I’d gladly rate five stars if this was fixed but alas it is unusable. Show more

It’s a great way to integrate technology into the classroom. Things to consider adding are a metronome, adding an enharmonics mode (show both the flat and sharp note) that is distant enough to not confuse the notes and a page explaining enharmonic notes, and making an app version for Android users. It’s an amazing musician tool and I wish everyone had the opportunity to use this app. Show more

Great for advanced band in my middle school.

I really like the app, it’s really good. The only thing keeping this from five stars is the sizing on some screens. For example, I have the iPhone 12 Mini, and I can’t get to the Voice (Treble cleft) because it’s off the screen. Show more

It’s nice… for most of the basic instruments, i play trumpet normally but I switched to mellophone and I cannot use this app any longer because there is no mellophone option. And I also wish that you could add stuff onto the key signature so you can exactly play what you need too instead of having to switch back and forth between sharp and flat keys. Overall, this app worked great until I got into harder pieces of music with different instruments that were not on the list. Great for beginners though. Show more

This is the best tuner app I’ve used!!

I would give this app a 1 star. However, the problem that I’m experiencing is probably only due to the phone that I have. In order for the app to hear anything I have to be practically 1 millimeter away from my phone. So, that makes playing very uncomfortable and hard. I have an IPhone 6. I would recommend trying to see if the app even works on your device before getting excited. Show more

Developers need to ether add a scroller or use a drop down list to the instrument pick screen very easy fix for any programmer
