Much better than listening on my radio in my library. Clear and beautiful.

Part of my dislike with the CPR app is the app update and the programming. Regarding the App, you could listen to classical stream and still look at the CO news articles. The stream now is tied to the heading you select. If you select news, you’re listening to the news channel and classical, classical. It used to be I could stream classical and still read news articles. Re: Programming - I feel there is too much news and pretend “caring and posturing” on behalf of the classical show hosts. I don’t want to hear about covid every 15 minutes from a classical radio DJ. I can go to the CDC, NIH or other news sources. I listen to the classical station for the music. Another issue is cpr will be playing Brahms, then a spiritual with no relevance in style or theme, then Handel. The spiritual would fit with Sunday’s SING at least in theme if not style. Now I’m on a paid Spotify subscription and am building my own playlists and in doing so, learning more about classical music and what I like. I also didn’t feel compelled to donate this year either due to these issues. Show more

I love the fact that when I have to get out of my car I can actually continue to listen to the program. I love it even more that it gives me the option to pause it (say I am paying the cashier) and continue as I walk out of the store and not miss any of the story. Thank you for the new CPR app. Show more

Great job, guys! This app works so much better than the previous version… so much easier to navigate, the ‘play’ button works no, fun to use! I seriously avoided listening to CPR on the road before, because it was dangerous. I’ll be listening a lot more now. Looking forward to donating too. Happy New Year! Show more

I love this app, as it brings me the most important Colorado news quickly and efficiently. I hate to be a headline reader, but when that is all the time I have, I know the headlines will be honest and without unnecessary drama. Show more

Please add the ability to STOP the news stream from the phone’s lock screen, not just pause it momentarily. Really annoying. Minnesota Public Radio’s app is an example of how every app should work. Show more

Many public radio stations play NPR every hour, and I hugely appreciate that CPR keeps that annoyance separate. A little heavy on the talking between pieces, but worth it to not have the news interruption! Show more
