    Nagging garbage
Every time I tried to use this to check my table’s RPM, some stupid nag would pop up forcing me to click ok twice and hiding the RPM. It doesn’t even seem accurate. Every reading have a different number. Show more

Only 10 tests. Just enough to get you in trouble.
App only lets you do 10 tests (which it counts ANY detection of movement as a test) before requiring you to purchase the Pro version. I can’t review it for accuracy, but all the niceties are Pro version only. All the trial does is test RPM and wow/flutter, which, if it’s accurate, is pretty good, but I doubt it takes phone weight/case weight into account since it never asks. Also, In the trial version, there’s no green light to tell you you’re in the sweet spot, but you don’t really need it, just like this app. Print out a stroboscope and use one of the several strobe apps that lets you select frequency (60Hz in US, 50Hz elsewhere in case you’re wondering). If I was relying ONLY on this app, I’d be screwed because right now, my TT is way too slow, thanks to this app making me think I should play with the speed. Show more

    Pay to use
You can use the app 10 times and then it makes you pay $9.99 to continue use. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re willing to spend

    Excellent app
Excellent but I will be wondering how accurate measurements are

    Ads
The app works great, it helped me fix my old record player. However, after you leave it measuring the rpm for about 20 seconds an ad pops up and you have to close the app to measure again. It works great though Show more

    Did not perform as advertised
Went through the calibration process. Read all the on screen information but nothing worked. Could be my phone, but I doubt it.

Nice, but let it run for a bit
This app is good, although I highly recommend running in calibration mode first. Before I did that on a rega rp3, it was reading way faster than the strobe disk, but once auto calibrated it was quite close. This is with an iPhone XR. I’m still a bit confused about wow and flutter and the circular trace it does. My sense is that it it showing unevenness in rotation and platter flatness, but for wow and flutter the relevant thing is what is happening where the needle touches the record. I’m, not sure if this w&F measure is comparable to what other folks measure. I did take heart, though, that my W&F readings were generally around .2, which seems to be about what most turntables in the database show...but I have no idea if other TT measurement systems would come up with the same number. Unusable app now?
When I first downloaded this app location I was able to use it with voiceover but apparently some changes have made it completely unusable. There are settings that may fix that issue but they require payment, and I will not pay for an app until I can verify that it will work with voiceover. What needs to happen is extra features need to be in abled for a certain number of days or tests or something similar so everything can be evaluated for blind accessibility before I am asked to pay for an application that I may not even be able to use. Having these extra features require payment when they benefit the makers of the application more than a benefit the users of the application also seems suspect. Show more

    Awful ads
After upgrading I’m still confronted with obnoxious advertising.

    Nice
Minor update to my previous review, and back from 5 to 4 star. I can’t understand why are variations in speed measurements between devices so great? My iPhone 8 plus show 33,40 and iPhone SE 33,31 rpm, while strobe dots on my Technics 1210 are spot on (should be 33,33). When I slow turntable a bit, so that app measures 33,33 it is clearly slow which can be seen just by observing strobe dots on the platter. Wow/flutter is ok, very low measurements ... Could the app be more precise, or is it up to the phones and OS-es? Show more
