    One wish, otherwise incredible
I wish there was an alternative to the current ‘Favorites’ function. Currently, selecting an item from the ‘Favorites’ menu will play the exact same music mix from the station from the time it was favorited, same every time. What I wish I could do is select a station from ‘Favorites’ (or maybe a separate ‘Saved Stations’?) and have it start a brand new mix of that station, which is what happens when selecting a station from any of the other sorting sections. In my use, I’m not favoriting a station because I like that ‘song’ or moment of music, but because I like the station in general and the whole point of Mubert for me is that I’m *not* hearing the same tracks/moments/mixes over and over again. Thanks Mubert team! Show more

    I love it!
You can’t beat great music choices with no ads. I downloaded it to try something new and I love it so far! I am a writer, so it’s very helpful with immersion. I don’t typically write reviews but this app is awesome and it has one funky AI DJ! Show more

    more frustrating than enjoyable
I was a paid customer but have left the service. I really loved the idea and thought the pricing was fair, and my initial reaction overall was positive. But lately I’ve been opening the app less and less because too often I end up with audio I dislike that doesn’t adapt to my feedback, or audio that sounds “buggy,” like the AI has stopped responding. I’ve tried to use the Like/Dislike buttons constructively to help personalize the service, but I don’t hear it helping, and it’s starting to feel like I’m interacting with static tracks that don’t actually have any dynamic AI element. Example 1: On one song, a distracting human voice started popping up to utter one phrase over and over. I gave the app a Dislike and waited for it to change, but it didn’t. I Disliked it again — nothing. I hit the refresh button to see if that would reset some parameters and change things up, but got the voice again. I finally gave up. Example 2: Another song started off fine and I was really digging it, but then slowly all but one element of the song just… went away… leaving behind only a synthesized “waves crashing” sound effect over a bed of nothingness. I tapped Dislike. No change, still just waves crashing. I tapped Dislike over 20 times. Still just waves. I hit the refresh button, and then the track stopped playing entirely. I restarted the app and went back to that song and got the exact same experience, where after maybe 30 seconds all the elements faded out to leave just waves crashing. Show more

    IpadOS version issues
Overall, I luv the Mubert app, and I use it often, including subscribing. But! A big issue with the iPad version — it only fits twelve entries on a screen, and you can’t scroll down. Some of my favorite stations are lower down! Thus, this is an issue for me, as I have a ‘pad that’s dedicated for my speaker system. Fix this, it’d totally be worth five stars to me. Show more

    Impressive
They really did different genres. The technology is built out properly for all of them. They didn’t just put different sound libraries in the same algorithm they tweaked the algorithm for each genre. It’s like going on a long musical journey. You know that what you hear is unique to the moment and it’s ever-changing (more for some genres than others) and it works. There are times when the sound cuts out for moments and I can’t tell if that’s the app or my Bluetooth or what. Even with that this is a cool app that does what it says and has continued to get better. Show more

    So much better than Endel
Ok so I just downloaded this with the free trial and I already know I’m going to get the whole year’s subscription. I love it. So much more variety of music than Endel and for half the cost. Why didn’t I give five stars? it’s not available on intel iMacs ??, there is no watch app ☹️ and there is no Alexa integration. I hope at least two of the three are in the works. At least make a watch app if the other two are not possible. Show more

    The lofi is alright
The lofi is fine but can you ad a lofi track that sounds like the ones from YouTube like more slower

    Wow!
impressed. pls add more dubstep / 145-150 bpm tracks. Mubert is great for activities u need flow state for.

    Surprised me
Cool to see AI generate this. Good in lofi. Kinda weak in hip hop.

    Cool App. But Don’t Subscribe.
Well I just wasted my time trying to pay for the premium stuff. After completing and verifying the purchase through the App Store, the app still claims I didn’t. I have no access to premium features, and I want my money back. Show more

Great selection + features, bad navigation
The UI for navigating between tracks is too limited and doesn’t display enough on screen. Track info is also too limited and doesn’t describe the difference between tracks. Some of them sound similar, and just having a name on the screen doesn’t say much. Endel is good enough for background noise and has much better UX. Would’ve been 2 stars for basic “AI music” and bad UX, +1 star for the interactive feedback feature. (Reviewed on iPad.) Show more

Better than most but has succumbed to simple downfalls
No volume control in app; I cannot stand that several music apps do this, it means you cannot watch YouTube or use another app at the same time without being destroyed by DB. Took away free music options. The worst business practice which somehow people do not learn to never repeat it, move forward and improve without taking away. It’s not hard Show more

    No Siri Shortcuts Integration
I really like the content but without support for Shortcuts, the app is not very useful for me (and many other iOS power users) because we want to automate playback instead of having to open the app and scroll around to find the station we’re looking for. Do you have any plans to add Shortcut actions for starting specific stations in the future? Show more

I’m picky about my LoFi, but...
I don’t usually review but I was weirdly impressed with this and I saw it wasn’t getting a lot of downloads for whatever reason. So, I’m picky about my Lo-Fi, and even more picky about my ambient study music. It has to be a certain level of detailed musically but also uninteresting enough that it doesn’t distract me. Endel is good app for this, but I’ve recently switched to this one. I didn’t think I could be converted, but, I have to say, I study better, read with less distraction, and when I play it when I’m working, I find that I complete tedious tasks with an overall more positive and focused attitude. The ability to flatten out the musical detail (for better focus) with the touch of one button was a really smart feature to add to this. I’m really liking the fact that there is an infinite amount of new music (generated by AI, which you can “train” with a like/dislike option), but at the same time, there’s an extremely limited amount of decisions you have to make about it... so there’s no analysis paralysis when it comes to what to listen to. For that reason, it’s kind of perfect for people who get lost when there are too many options, but get bored when there is too much repetition. Show more

Was great but after update ?
This app was great but after update i don’t know what happened ! Where are those beautiful black and white geometric backgrounds ? Where is that amazing crazy stone like icon ? I think The owner of the app has changed and new one one is not good enough ? Show more

It has good chill ai music I like to listen to while working on anything

    Glitchy
I love the idea and when it works it works. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work more often than it does. I liked it enough at first to pay for a subscription but after these experiences will not be renewing. Documentation, support, and onboarding is nonexistent. Good luck figuring out what the little toggles mean or getting help when it’s broken. They need to focus on having the app work before adding all these pointless ‘features’. Show more

Perfect balance from rhythm to ambient music!
I LOVE using this while I study. I used to run Lofi YouTube music but I found this app really does grow to your taste. One minor request; the ability to project this on a screen as though it were a video? Sometimes my room’s too dark and I end up turning the tv on mute just for the light. Show more
