This app seems to have aged out. I recently downloaded it to my iPhone 11Pro and it just won’t start. I notice the last updates are 4 years old. Too bad. My car is 25 years old, and I’ve just installed a new JVC unit that says to use this app. Show more

I had to delete this app immediately. It crashes as I try to open it.

With every iOS update this app works less and less. The lightning cable connection rarely works and Bluetooth is iffy. JVC still sells this stereo so please update your software Show more

It’s useless

Just downloaded this on a fully updated iPhone 7, all I can do from the default page is access the menu because if I drag my finger around on the screen it draws a light blue line and then crashes when I take my finger off. Can’t tap either, (besides the menu button) that makes it crash too. Show more

Won’t officially connect to bt through app but plays only songs on iTunes doesn’t support Spotify

I don’t know why people are having difficulty I have had nothing but success but then again I’m not an idiot. If you have trouble then it must be with you? overall this is a wonderful app I was not expecting all the things I can do with my sound. Sound separation etc was really cool because now my sound is so much clearer. I highly recommend this app to any new people deciding on it. To the developers: great app and maybe think about putting a price on this app I would’ve paid an upgrade service up to $10 ✌️ Show more

Didn’t connect keep saying connection failed! I am legally blind and was very excited and I am extremely disappointed. Uugghh Will you guys please come out with a better working version!!!

My Phone Is Connected But It Says Fails When Trying To Connect The Radio With The App.

i was able to get the app to connect after i went to settings on the receiver, app settings > ios > yes. it had been “no” previously. after that the app connects fine when on bt/ipod source. Show more

This app is worthless, got the jvc with this app to use as remote because stereo is mounted high in my garage. Can get iPhone to connect Bluetooth to stereo but can’t get app to connect with stereo and have no control. Looks like it might work to play music from phone over stereo but nothing else. Show more

Doesn’t do anything I couldn’t already do with BT.

I totally agree with the reviewer from a year ago. A year later and absolutely nothing has changed. Might as well take it off the apps list as it does nothing. I would give it zero stars except I am forced to give at least one. Show more

Not sure what features it has cause it never connects it’s like it hates IOS. It would be great if it integrated properly cause then maybe it would allow for seemless integration it is sad my steering wheel has more control than my phone. I have Xmas-SiriusXM to allow for my to find traffic and music I like without hunting Lesson learned pay more you get way more this radio is alright for 30-50 more way better out there that works with Apple care drive and the manufacturers remote it got one star cause you can’t leave a zero star. Like the other reviews I thought that this app did not work, IT DOES! people aren’t connecting to it correctly, hold down the menu button and find where you switch between iOS or android after that follow the rest of of the guide and pull up the app you should be in the iPod source and it should connect! Unstable unusable JVCFAIL

Will not connect to head unit. Ever. I’ve tried three versions of this app and JVC seems to have no interest in fixing it despite the atrocious reviews.

I have an iPhone 7plus and a JVC kw-x830bts. To connect you have to be in iPhone bt mode not Bluetooth audio mode. I assume it would be the same for a google phone. The only mode that you cannot use is usb mode (for playing a thumb drive with audio). All functions work properly including EQ edit settings, color. It displays what is playing. I also use this app while listening to iHeartRadio and it works seamlessly. The original connection was the difficult part but I hope my explanation helps others. Show more
