    Rubbish
Another 25 bucks down the drain. I have an iPad retina 4, older I know- but most apps work beautifully on it. The compatibility on this app simply states "iPad". I can barely get this app to stay open, crashes, I've had to restore purchases (I bought the jazz pack) over and over again, just to have them disappear. I notice hardly any reviews, when will I learn not to trust barely reviewed apps? Buy Korg, their stuff works. This is garbage. Show more

    Wow! Fantastic Update!
This has always been an excellent app, but this update adds so many fantastic touches. Per-sample EQ, envelopes and sample editing, terrific sounding kits - or roll your own, nice touches everywhere ... and finally cut groups are available. The learning curve is steep on this one. But if you are after the most realistic drum sounds you can get, this is the one! Show more

    Drum Perfect Pro
This is a GREAT drum machine app. I had Drum Perfect (original) first for a few years and loved it! The basic design of both apps allow you to get the feel that you want, not just metronomic time. This is the main reason why I love it. In Pro you can get a lot more for it too like kits, patterns & songs. Remember that on the demos of the kits available in Pro, the bass and harmonic sounds are not a part of your purchase. They are there for you to hear how the kits would sound in a band setting. Show more

    Horrible Sounding samples
I wish I could get a refund. These samples sound like a tin drum machine from the 80's, they're just horrible. They do not sound like a sample from a live microphone, they sound very artificial. These are not live drums! Further the UI is a train wreck, the workflow is just horrible. I did not have the expectation this would sound like Superior Drummer or BFD, but I did expect it to sound legit which it does not. They sound no where near as real as X drummer from GarageBand and I don't rate those as anymore than a 5 out of 10. For $18 us I usually wouldn't complain but these sonically are really bad. If the developer reads this please contact me through the app store, I would like a refund please. Show more

    Not perfect
When saving sequences the drum kit being used is not saved as well. So each project you're working on if you go back you'll have to remember which drum kit you used. Saving sequences is better this time as the iOS keyboard doesn't block the name as you type. I purchased the first Drum Perfect and expected some updates in the future. Now with Drum Perfect Pro I was expecting something more refined with a very useful interface. Something that made working on projects easy to get back into. Currently you have to re-load all the sequences, then re-load the song, and then choose the drum sets again. It's very tedious for something made in 2016. Show more

The Best App for Making Realistic Acoustic Drum Tracks!
DrumPerfect Pro is the only app on the store that can make your drum tracks sound like a real drummer. There's nothing else that's close in this respect. This is because it has many features that randomize velocity, timing and drum strokes. It allows you to have up to 16 samples for every drum hit--and it randomizes them. It has a "2-hand" feature that takes your patterns and will only allow as many sounds as a person with 2 hands and 2 feet could possibly play. Finally, you can output all 16 of your tracks to separate files so you can process them one by one. (Try doing that with a loop!) These are just a few of the unique features it has. There are many terrific drum machines on the store, but if you are the kind of person who wants to have their songs sound like they have accompaniment of a real drummer, then you need this one. Could be really amazing with a little work
Pretty good sounds overall and the sequencer is flexible. The UI is a little fluky and takes some getting used to. I couldn't get the closed hi hat to choke the open hi hat, so all the authentic drum programming kind of goes out the window. You should also be able to adjust the pitch of the drum samples. UX needs a major overhaul to make it worth the price - buyers remorse!
Not worth the cost until UX is improved drastically! An app in this price range should be way more intuitive. I'm so stuck trying to figure out where to go just to build a kit and make a pattern, I'm really close to asking for a refund. The online manual leaves a lot to be desired - this is amateur at best. I'm sure there's some awesomeness in this app somewhere, but I haven't found it yet. Show more

By far, the most authentic drum app in iOS music production
Takes everything that made DrumPerfect so great and great and multiplies it. Adding several new features, add-on packs for drum samples/grooves and a complete GUI overhaul, DP Pro is essential if you're producing music of any genre on iPad. Show more

    I love the new features
The new features are great and the app seems stable. Looking forward to more midi pattern purchase options.

    This One..
Is hands down THE BEST WAY to achieve realistic drum tracks (sounding like they are played by a real human) on iOS. There is no other app that comes close so don't waste your time looking. If you want a break from the billion drum machines on iPad this is definitely it. Show more

    The best on IOS period!
If you can't get it done with this fine app then you're fooling yourself in thinking you are any kind of musician. Finally a complete solution for drums on the iPad. Show more
