I love this app so much but 4/4 is so boring. I want to compose music in 5/4, 6/8, 23/10, and I want to be able to switch time signatures in songs. This app is amazing, but I feel so limited by 4/4 time. There are more scales besides major, minor, and harmonic minor. Yes i can go into chronomatic mode and use my music theory textbook to reference the scale and build from there, but why? There should be an easy toggle for modes like dorian. This app has a lot of potential, but after two years of use the only updates ive seen are new sounds, which is nice, but please update the whole app. Youre missing alot Show more

Why does it cost money this is garbage why not make the app cost money

I’ve been using this for awhile now and I gotta say, this is by far one of the best mobile studios for making songs on the go. I have been using the free version of it, which has A lot to offer but in my opinion I think the standard version should have more variety included. There’s only a couple of drums, Melodies, and sounds that you can add to a standard song without paying for a monthly subscription. I think adding more would give people who don’t want to buy the subscription a bit more to mess around with before they make that decision. Overall: great app, love it, keep up the good work. I always look at the worst reviews before I get an app.all the criticism is because it’s a subscription. 5 dollars a month to me is a small price to pay considering the production value I get out of this app. I think the bad reviews are from people looking for an app just to mess around with. This app is my ticket to my dreams. I’ve had this app for 4 years. Music production is everything to me but trying to learn some of the other softwares has been in a uphill battle. I’ve gotten really really good at making some dope music. music you’d never expect came from an iOS app. hopefully one day what I make can be heard by the world and it will all me thanks to the creators of this app. Hazy k on YouTube btw. This app is amazing! I’ve used it since the beginning of lockdown, and I can say that the quality is undeniable. It looks professional, and it can be used to make amazingly professional and complex music, which is incredible for a phone app! I think my favorite part about this app, though, is that it’s totally accessible to anyone! I had zero knowledge of any computer or phone apps before I got Auxy, but I didn’t need it, since it’s so dead simple. At the same time, though, the skill ceiling is incredibly high, and you can take this app to an amazing level! 10/10, this is the best beat sequencer on the App Store! Over all it’s pretty good accept I have one problem with it, you can’t do sharps and flats on the piano

i really like using this app but theres one flaw, the notes' labels. i notice how some notes' labels are replaced with "1,3,5" rather than traditional terminology for notes like "C, E, G". as someone who is still learning music making, i believe knowing what notes im placing to make cohesive chords, rather than randomly placing notes to what sounds "closest" to what i want will greatly help all of us, including people who are experienced with music theory. You’ve probably seen me send you some reviews before. I really like this app and I use it all the time. The sounds are amazing and the interface is easy to use. I loved it when you could change the color of an instrument, though. You still can to an extent, but since you made all the colors go on one row, now I can’t pick some of the colors (like purple). Absolutely nothing here is valid for a subscription. LOL. Only dropping IQs would be that dumb! I’d buy it but it definitely is not worth a subscription. I hardy buy apps anymore for all the ‘unethical’ subscriptions. No sale ever. Way to go Apple. Shoot yourself in the foot as iOS continues to becomes irrelevant, especially in music making. iOS is stale and getting primitive. Show more

Overall Im very content with the state of the app right now, some of the editing could be refined here and there, such as being able to undo/redo on the overview screen instead of only when editing a specific loop. But most of all I would love to see the creation date of songs somewhere in the settings/info section. The app can already sort by creation date, so It would only make sense if we could see those dates as well. Otherwise looking forward to whatever comes next! Show more

No unpaid trial without auto enrollment, guess the app’s features aren’t strong enough, lol. I buy a ton of music production apps, I’ll pass this one on principal.

The interface is easy to learn and I love to play around with it. But I wish there were more sounds in the free version to allow more people to get a better feel for it and I want there to be a android version of the app. Instead of using my iPad. Show more

Auxy is a great, free-range app that allows you to make songs and music. there is only one though, there aren’t many sounds to use for free, and I understand that’s how they make their money. But, it’s a subscription, if it were simply $30-$40 to purchase all sounds for ever on that account, I would have bought it, but the subscription makes it $71.88 A YEAR, that is a lot. I wouldn’t say that’s a good price for a music making app on a phone. honestly, just use garage band, it’s %100 free, you get an even larger amount of sounds for free, and even if you have to use certain techniques to do it, you can make songs THE SAME WAY. please fix this auxy. Super fun and intricate. I haven’t found any other beat maker as personal, and easy to use with this level of sophistication. I originally downloaded the app in 2013, departed from IOS, and it was the first thing I put on my new IPhone. Don’t even care they charge now, too much fun.
