Great App! Everything I hoped for!
I downloaded this app to recreate sheet music I’ve purchased for the purpose of hearing certain measures stripped down. This helps me so much to understand exactly what I should be playing and what the result should sound like. A+! 10/10! Btw, I used the free version and it has so many options. Def the treatment from an app that makes me want to pay for premium :) Show more

    Transpose removed from free version
I was able to transpose the music I make for my instrument, but now that’s in the pro version. What gives?????

    Very good! However.
I really enjoy using flat, however, I think it’s better to use MuseScore because it sounds a lot more better. Flat is still very good, but I personally recommend MuseScore!

Now I can play duel of the fates
I’ve been searching for this score for a long time, but I could never find a reasonable price for it on trombone. But now, it’s free! A great app any music lover should have. Plus, it doesn’t even cost you Show more

Not for me…but it’s not a bad app
This app just didn’t have what I needed. I teach elementary music, and I don’t feel like it’s useful for what I’m working with the kids. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad app, but not for me. Show more

Developers, now is a good opportunity to fix your mistakes
Dont get me wrong, Flat is an amazing app. The community is extremely creative and friendly, the scores are incredible and so much can be found! However, if you arent wanting to pay for all of the features of this app, dont bother getting the app. The last update I got as of May 8th made features that are extremely helpful REQUIRED to have the Flat premium subscription 2 of the biggest ones are the transpose tool and the swing annotation. Really Flat? is it necessary to make important tools as if they are the most luxurious things in existence? No! If you want the bang for your buck, just get the Musescore app and their subscription. Its a lot more worth it. Show more

    Amazing
This music composing platform is super underrated and very good! It is much easier to use this platform on computer but overall it is a very good place to compose and create music, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to make a song! Show more

    Please add more
Hello. I would like to ask if you could please allow more access to certain instruments. I would certainly enjoy if you could give access to more percussion instruments, pitched percussion, and the brass section. I would also appreciate access to the piccolo. Other than this, I really do enjoy the app, and it keeps my pieces more organized than they were in my folder. Overall I’d give this 4 stars. Show more

    Super great, but bug
This app is super good. I like the piano and selection, but one thing: Every time I try to change the time signature in the middle of a song with 4/4 or 2/2 time signature, It says “The time signature is inconsistent” because I can’t change the pickup so that it doesn’t use the common/cut time symbol. It’s okay, but can be very finicky
I like this app a lot, but sometimes I get frustrated trying to get it to click where I want it to. Sometimes it gets stuck and I have to hit the play music button for a moment to get it to let me select elsewhere on the sheet. It’s also pretty touchy about accidentally deleting parts of my music if I’m not careful. Lastly - and the reason I’m writing this review - it’s lacking at least one important feature that I need: COLOR CODING I’m transcribing a piece with multiple “voices” and I’m doing it with piano only instead of adding instruments. I would love if I could color-code the four options that are already available in a single instrument, i.e. “voice 1 - treble”, “voice 1 - bass”, “voice 2 - treble”, “voice 2 - bass” Color-coding would help me keep track of the various elements and figure out which one needs tweaking. Please consider adding it! Otherwise pretty solid app. Show more
