    A Pleasant surprise
I was finally able to end the frustration of having to keep a collection of my music on flash drives due to format issues. My library is complete and in one place, easily accessible and sounding great! Show more

    Glitchy and Unreliable
I don’t usually write reviews, and especially avoid negative ones. But sometimes it’s just a necessity. This app seemed to be OK at first blush, but turned out to be a real disaster. I had a project with 223 audio files that needed to be converted from 24/48 (stereo) to 16/44.1 (mono). Right away the problems started. First, the app failed numerous times to complete the batch convert. I soon figured out that I couldn’t batch convert more than about 50 files at a time. After slogging through the selection/conversion process, I discovered that the app had cut short about half of the converted files. Audio was cut off at the end, so none of those were complete. I tried the entire process again, and again files were cut short, and sometimes conversion passes would fail, even with only 50 files at a time. Needless to say, I’m not using this app again. I would say "you get what you pay for", but Audacity is free, and did a fantastic (and fast!) job of converting the entire batch of 223 files in one pass. Flawlessly, I might add. So if you need a free audio file conversion app, save yourself the aggravation and get Audacity. This one still needs a lot of work. Show more
