    Does not work for me
I purchased ToothFairy twice, once for my work mac and the other for my personal mac. My intent was to speed the use of switching the wireless mac keyboard and trackpad from machine to machine. Thinking I would be able to simply click them off on one machine, wait a moment, and then click them on for the other machine. ToothFairy may work well for connecting earpods, but for other bluetooth devices, at least in my experience, it simply does not work. Show more

    Finickey and obtrusive
The app is unable to hide from the dock. It's always there despite everything I've done to hide it. And then, it doesn't always connect my airpods. Half the time, i have to go into bluetooth settings and manually connect them. I'm about to delete it. The limited functionality isn't worth it working some of the time. Show more

Does in app form what Mac should do by itself.
If I'm looking at my laptop and I put my Beats in, the laptop should simply say "Okay Beats that are 2 feet away from me, connect to me and .. Mind. My. AUTHORITAH." Toothfairy makes it happen. Until Apple pulls its corprorate head out of its pocket and realizes that NFC (pick up my headphones, touch them anywhere on the device and they connect) is worthwhile, I'll continue to use Toothfairy. And likely after as well. :) Show more

    Worse than useless
To be honest, I can NOT remember every actually gettng this app to work … conveniently. They have a trouble-shooting matrix or chart that is almost 20 steps long and takes over an hour to try EVERYTHING they suggest. I finally uninstalled, started from scratch. Still, the alleged functionality of this app is NO better and NO more convenient that APPLE’s built-in functionality with their Menubar-accessible Bluetooth capabilities. Actually, with my Jabra headphones, Jabra earbuds, Apple AirPods Pro, Soundcoure speaker, and Bose Resolve speaker, MERELY turning ANY of them on gets them connected. Come to think of it, I can’t remember WHY I ever even wasted my money on this application/utility. Oh, someone recommended it to me. I respected them as one of the few tech “influencers” I actually listen to. Well, I am no tech influencer, but, seriously? This app seems nothing more than a “solution in search of a problem.” IF I could post screen shots of all the issues and the logs from my Mac, I would. SAVE YOURSELF some money. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Apple’s own Bluetooth module with menubar access is PERFECTLY adequate. It is NOT broken. It just works. Show more

doesn't do the only feature I bought it for
The "Disabling audio input from device" does not actually do anything. Apps still automatically select my bluetooth devices as an input device and I still have to manually change it back in System Preferences, so this app does absolutely nothing for me. Show more

    Not Consistent
I have two Macs, was looking for an app that can help to connect [ keyboard and trackpad ] seamlessly between them. Unless I disconnect from one Mac, it is not helping to connect the other. You get a nice little icon on the menu bar otherwise, An overrated app!!! Show more

    Excellent utility
Unobtrusive, sitting in the menu bar just waiting for me to click and tell it to connect my various Bluetooth devices. Click, connect, done. Click, disonnect, done. They even (recently) added a battery indicator for my headphones, something even Apple's Bluetooth prefs pane can't tell me. Very worthwhile utility app. Show more

    great bluetooth resolution
Even with the W1 chip you still need this app to keep your sanity. I have 3 W1 devices that I use on a daily basis, this is the only way to manage all thes tooth's of blue. Keep up the great work C-Command, I just ask for bigger icon library. Thank you. Show more

Doesn't disable my AirPods Max Mic
I wish the app worked. When I tried to disable AirPods Max Mic to improve sound quality - the main reason I bought this app - it didn't really do anything. I'll keep trying to make it work, but I wished it worked "right out of the box". Show more

    Just what I needed
This little App has helped to turn my AirPod Pros into a simple tool for referencing the way I do with the car. I can't thank the author enough for providing this solution for a problem so many face. Show more

Great app, quirky behaviour with Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse
Excellent app for managing Bluetooth connections from the menu bar. Having this odd scenario in which I can see a Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse as a device to add but it doesn't allow me to select it to add to the ToothFairy app. Show more

Simple but useful, makes life just a bit better!
Lovely utility to reduce a little friction when dealing with the frequenltly annoying and glitchy world of Bluetooth device connections. Makes it much easier to switch my AirPods between Mac and ios devices Show more

    1-click solution
I really appreciate this app - I have several bluetooth headphones, and this is a very easy way to quickly connect whichever one I happen to be using. I also like the battery status indicator - it's a good way to keep my eye on how much juice I have left on my headphones - and keyboard as well. Show more

Click the icon and it resets my bluetooth device. Not ideal.
I wanted it to show battery life but that didnt work. guess its my omnitype device. How weird, it seemed to work on my ipad no problem for battery info. I'll be asking for a refund even though I would have rather had a solution I kept and paid for happily. Show more

    Best name of app ever!
This name is absolutely fine. After I'd sreach on App store by type in the sreach bar 'toothfairy' An other day guess what happens to my store pages? Full glanced of teenager girl games! Literally! EndLESSLY! Plus my family starting to concern what happen to my dock icon with a 'ToothFairy' floting around occasionally. Back to review. This app is good but obviously not great, Like many others ' There's always a room for improvement', First it seems like only support add-in Apple BT devices. My Microsoft lovely precision mouse is on the otherside. Second, If you've got bucks of BT devices this app will add each individual app to Top bar, It does support ⌘ move around So I got 5 BT devices icon stock fat top bar, It looks very fairy! YES Last. The blocking audio input to improve sounds. I had no evidence against it whatsoever, But I did found the aptX option still hang there in Bluetooth Explorer. Wish someone could explian to me how this sound improvement actually works. Updates: Oct 1. After using the app awhile along with other similar software that I've been used for long time. Find that ToothFariy worth mention that couple of useful futures that others could've have. Rank up 1 star for totall 4 star. Here's what I hopefully to see improvememt in future. A combine stack devices list, BL audio codex and HID input accessories with indicator. For easier use. A switch for BL host decentralization, By changing BL host or accessoris role play to periphral, centered or satellite. I think that might help with other form factories devices using in macOS. A mouse key registration for third party devices that equipped multiple mouse switchies. Magic Mouse is great it using two different BL channel to separate input, Only problem is it only have one physic switch. There are great mouse for macOS with multiple mouse switchies can increase workflow between different platforms like macOS with windows 11 side by side. I work with Microsoft surface percision mouse for macOS/Windows 11 simultaneously, It's plainful to not have convinced key bounding in macOS. I also noticed that HP have mouse software for 930&935 mouse setting but lack of key bounding for macOS also. I just leave these trunk word here, Sorry for everyone reading, I could be seriously wrong, So apology advance. If ToothFairy find a way to be king of those, There might be a great potential ahead. Improving sound quality doesn't work
I bought this app in the hope that it would automatically change the audio input source to the Mac's internal microphone. Unfortunately while the app says it can do this, it doesn't work with my AirPods Max and macOS 11.5.2. Show more

Does what it Says on the Box
This app isn't fancy or powerful. What it is is mildly useful and imminently convenient. It takes the 10 second long process of pairing a bluetooth device and shortens it down to 1 second. This is the second best $5 I've ever spent on an app. Show more

Exactly what I needed for my stable of BT devices
Works great with all of my BT devices from keyboards, headphones, mice, and presentation devices. If you think your menubar is too cluttered with icons, I agree. I use Bar Tender (not in the app store) to hide the icons until I need them. I would like to see a single icon in the menu bar and be able to see all the devices listed in the menu for me to select. Just a slight nit to pick though - this is a great app. Gladly paid for the convienence it brings. Show more
