Almost the perfect crate digging app
First of all the UI is beautiful and I find it much easier to use than the native Discogs app. However all of these vinyl collection and want list apps are missing a key feature for shopping for vinyl. I NEED to be able to sort my want list by Genre first and then by alphabetical order. This is how almost every record store in the world is laid out. It is so hard not having genre as a top level filter followed by alphabetical. I have to sort my entire list and dig through it every time in each section to a store. It’s hard to do at a store. Please consider adding the genre sort for want list with a sub sort? It would make this a 5 star app for sure if you did. Another nice to have feature would be allowing us to see any comments on each release from Discogs. Even linking to them like you do marketplace would be fine. Thanks for considering these updates. Issues with upc scanning
I installed this app to scan my record collection into discogs. UPC scanner often fails to find the UPC code even though searching for the upc on the discogs website successfully finds the album. I’d happily pay more than asking price for this app if it was able to scan by upc! Show more

Nice interface but it doesn’t work
I really like the way this app looks but it crashes every time I refresh my collection or try to open a collection folder. It’s also harder to filter than the Discogs app. I usually filter so I’m only seeing US vinyl but I can’t even figure out how to do that on VinylBox. Show more

    Barcode scan doesn’t find results
I just downloaded the app and decided to start playing. After logging into my Discogs account I tried scanning the barcode‘s of three albums, two of which are very common. The first album was Emily Estefan‘s “Take Whatever You Want.“ This might not be as common as most so when the barcode scan found no results I moved on. I next scanned Mudcrutch. Again, no results. I was slightly surprised with the popularity of Tom Petty. Finally I scanned the barcode of the new “A Star is Born” lp. Again no results. Find this rather surprising. Show more

    Not free
You have to pay to add more than one record to your collection. Lol okay sure, I’ll just go back to using Google Keep. It’s also incredibly frustrating to use because when you search for an artist or album, the search results list every single LP and EP ever released, including multiple versions of the exact same record. Way too much trouble, especially if you expect me to pay for it (lol how dishonest can you be? It’s free! Until you want to add more than one record.) Show more

    Upset it never really worked.
I actually went and bought the Pro version. It almost never opens without crashing, and widen it does it NEVER connects to my Discogs collection ( The whole reason I got the app). I never buy apps and I guess I never will again. Show more

    Can’t type
I’m not sure if it was because the app was trying to ask me if I was enjoying it, but I couldn’t put in conditions of my record I added

    Great clean interface
I absolutely love the way this app is organized! It’s great being able to see all the folders, and I prefer this over the Discogs app just for viewing my entire collection because of the clean interface. I usually add items and make folders directly through Discogs, and this app updates very quickly. Show more
