shady… be wary of this app.
TL:DR; first time worked perfectly, then i paid for PRO, then it basically stopped doing all the things i needed (and had paid for). downloading the songs doesn’t work, cannot play the undownloaded songs over LTE, so basically if you’re connected to wifi 24/7 then i guess okay, but if you want to listen in the car or if your wifi is unreliable, find a different app. (also extremely shady that it worked no problem first time and then completely crapped out.) i downloaded some songs, was able to get them from dropbox to this app and also download them (my ultimate goal, meaning i could play them even in an area offline.) so a day or two later, i downloaded some more songs. this time, NO MATTER WHAT i did, which internet i connected to (and i have VERY high speed internet so speed is not the issue), i COULD NOT DOWNLOAD THEM. i mean i got them from dropbox to the app, but could not download them, thus defeating the purpose since i wanted to access them offline. (keep in mind that YES i did pay the $4.99 for PRO so it wasn’t that i had reached the file limit or anything.) FURTHERMORE… (and this is HUGE because the above could have been forgiven) you cannot play the songs (the ones that have not been downloaded) over LTE. so i can’t play any of my songs with this app in my car. (except for the ones i was able to successfully download on the very first day.) this is incredibly frustrating and if i could get a refund i would. i won’t go through all that hassle for $5 (which is what this company is obviously hoping for). i just want to say shame on you. i know $5 doesn’t seem like a lot but it is to some people. i think it’s set up so it works flawlessly the first time, then people pay for PRO, and then it stops working. i have never said this unironically before, but DO BETTER. High learning curve
Still does not resume playing where left off neither in song or playlist if you leave the app. Chromecast just displays “Dropmusic” but never plays, hangs app instead. Took an hour to figure out Files, Music Library and Playlists are all separate entities and how to move songs between them. With a few fixes could be best offline music player ever. Show more

The best music app in the app store
Easily my favorite music app. Has dramatically enhanced my musical experience and is very simple to use with many great features. Highly recommended

    Right idea but…
Very clunky interface. I have the Pro version and I tried to import files from Dropbox a month ago and I still can’t figure out why so much of my music is missing. Really needs to simplify the interface. Select folders you want to download and just do it already. Also need more sort options- sort by year produced would be nice. I always feel lost in the app- the functionality is very siloed out and you’re always navigating from one silo to the other to get it to do what you want. Improve on these points and you have a home run! Show more

    Nice player. Has polish issues.
I have switched to this player from Apple Music to play my Dropbox music collection. The player is overall good. Nice interface. The bad: - It took days to sync the metadata in Dropbox for about 1000 songs - It sometimes stops playing after a single track - getting custom artwork working was harder than expected. It was very hard to get it to stop using incorrect artwork. Had to go through the 1000 song sync w few times. Show more

    Great Dropbox integration
This is the best player that I could find for my audio files on Dropbox. It does absolutely everything I could want in that regard.

    #1 BEST OFFLINE MUSIC APP
Few ads, loaded with features, and the smoothest app I've come across so far!!

    Obnoxious Ads
Great app but the ads are horrendous...loud game ads that take up the full screen and stop playback. Very invasive. I wouldn’t mind normal ads at all and I know this is to convince me to pay $3 for the pro version but ?? Show more

    Best Thing Ever
I have never written a review a day in my life but this app made me want to express my joy! For a free app, and a $2.99 upgrade to pro, they don’t receive the credit they deserve. This is an amazing app that transfers downloads, I use Dropbox, to your phone and it even has metadata so the album art transfers over! Sometimes the art isn’t correct, but it’s based up on where you downloaded it from or what the algorithm is reading. It’s literally a great music player with features Spotify and Apple Music doesn’t have, like a sleep timer and smooth transition into the next song as if you were a DJ. I cannot explain how happy I am to have found this app. PLEASE never delete this app, I would cry. Show more

    Almost perfect
This app is great, but it needs to improve in a key aspects: 1. The workflow of getting your audio files form Dropbox: there are too many ways of accomplishing the same thing. You can import files, you can find them directly in Dropbox, then you can create playlists and add files from Dropbox or local files... you never know where your files are. 2. Navigating within an audio file: the rewind and forward buttons don’t do what they mean. The icons on those buttons universally mean they should skip a few seconds when long pressed. But these don’t, they move to the next audio file. The icons to skip to the previous or next song are different. 3. Missing Skip 15 Seconds buttons: key for long audio files like audiobooks, interviews, meetings, etc. Keep up the good work! Show more

    Perfect
I was looking for a music player for Dropbox and I found this one. This has some ads but I’m fine with that because it doesn’t pause the music. Thank you Show more

    DropBox app and other sources
Beautiful app?, you can save your own equalizer settings
  • kashtonion, 17.02.2020
    Sweet
I dig it - makes the entire Dropbox for me useful - semi hated Dropbox before this ;)
  • Carlovito, 16.01.2020
Works worse than the one built into Dropbox!
Refuses to advance through list. Says change settings. Settings helpfully appears, but disappears less than a second later. Good luck finding settings on the app! But not worth the bother: settings were already set properly to use data. Went through process repeatedly. Show more
