    Finally! A Fantastic Equalizer!
For a long time I used an older EQ app that is unfortunately not available on the AppStore anymore. For months I tried to find a replacement with no luck. I even purchased a couple highly rated EQ Apps that were just downright disappointing! Then I came across Music Player X. It is simple, easy to use, FREE, and has no annoying ads! I can finally tune my headphones and make my music sound fantastic once again! Highly recommend!!! This is the EQ App you have been waiting for. Thank you, Developer ? Show more

    My favorite!
Favorite music player by far. As someone who has converted a large library to digital for on the go listening this app crushes the Apple Music player in sound quality and has been constantly improved. Some controls aren’t intuitive but after some use it becomes second nature. Show more

Finally found an Music Player that works for me!!
I have downloaded and rejected quite a few apps after Apple Music failed to perform well. Music Player X is simple to use for all your music already stored on your iPhone. Show more

    App Is Great
I needed to find an equalizer so I can use my old iPhone and iTunes as the source of music and then use my Bluetooth speakers instead of using my laptop all the time. There isn’t an equalizer on the iTunes app for phones like on the desktop one which is why i came looking. I stumbled on this app and since it was free I tried it. It’s really well made although the interface took me a few times to get used to it. I didn’t have to import or start new playlists since there’s an option to find existing ones available, which is what I did. I had the app and music playing within 5-10 minutes. There’s an 5-band equalizer that you can use so you can get really good high and low treble, bass, and midway sounds or minimize them if you like. There’s a section called “now playing” and this is where you’ll find all the songs ready to be played and you can add or subtract at will. You can also save the “now playing” list if you like that combination of songs so you don’t have to try and remember all of them next time. The only issue I have run into is the app will split my iTunes Playlists by itself and it will also split albums as well as combine an artist and all of their songs into one “record” and leave a few tracks randomly and create the same named record with only 1 or 2 tracks (and usually tracks that are not on that original album (playlist) o don’t know why it does this but it’s combining for example , you have all of Whitney Houston’s records and you made playlists for them in iTunes, in this app it will combine all songs from the Whitney Houston lp with all the songs from the lp I’m Your Baby Tonight and it will still call it Whitney Houston. I haven’t figured out how to fix this so I’ll have to reach out to customer support to see how to fix this issue. Most people won’t be bothered by this but I am because I like to curate my own song lists and I’m particular to song order and arrangement. The app is free but in it you can find an Easter Egg that will thank you for trying the app and if you’d like to make a monetary donation to the developers.. Show more

Equalizer, cross fade, 3D spatial sound
I took a chance and downloaded this app because I needed the ability to EQ some harshness on treble on my new wired headphones. I was pleasantly surprised at all of the other features this app included! I will not go into the details of what the app offers but I will tell you one thing that it doesn’t do. It doesn’t have constant pop up ads! If you like the app like I did just donate. Simple as that. I sent a suggestion in for a change and I was simply shocked as I received an email back from developer saying that he was going to include my idea in the next release! Are you kidding? A developer that is responsive?? This is something I am not used too. Try the app you may find you are no longer using Music(iTunes) like me. Show more

    Interface keeps changing
Just when you get used to the interface, the developer changes it. Having trouble getting my albums to play now. After selecting an album it plays one song then bounces back to something selected previously. I don’t mind change when it adds to the application, but change just for the sake of change that makes the product less useful is frustrating. Back to the native music player for now. Will keep an eye on this app and update review if it changes. Show more

Just like the good old Winamp
I looked for Winamp and this was the closest app that I could find. It works great for my music, the music that I downloaded from the internet and have it on a drive. Not the music that corporate America wants you to hear, MY MUSIC. Show more

    Only the Best!
I found this FREE app after my last music equalizer app of five years failed to update to 14.0.1 on both my Apple iPhone and iPad! So I looked and read the various reviews and this app was ”head and shoulders” above the rest based on positive reviews like mine. I downloaded the app and have been impressed with the app as I listen through the app using all my higher-end audio headphones on either device! The music quality is outstanding and the automatic queue of music in the random play is wonderful. The rotating turntable is a nice feature for us ”old school” listeners when playing that ”old school” playlist of Motown, R&B, and Jazz! Yes, opera lovers, Verdi sounds wonderful using the app with your playlist as well. So live large, take a chance, and download the app! Show more
