There is a lot worth watching on the platform. My main reasons for four instead of five stars are limited subtitle options (bad translations, out of sync with the performance) and I wish the repertoire of operas available was more varied. I also have an active subscription for Met Opera on demand and I find their selection of available opera performances superior, and their app is better designed. That said, I have loved the dance programming on offer from Marquee TV, and that definitely helps it compete with other apps. Show more

My wife alerted me to this website. What a cornucopia of goodies. I particularly like the opera selections. Worth the annual fee by a long shot!

I’m so happy I discovered Marquee. Great dance, ballet, opera, theater, concerts and documentaries. It’s the app for all of my entertainment.

I bought a full year subscription to Marquee because 1) it was discounted 2) there was a particular ballet I wanted to watch that I couldn't find easily elsewhere. I am soooo glad I gifted myself this app! I love to watch all the classical ballets, but Marquee has opened my world up to things like contemporary works and opera. Also very impressed with the variety of content, and that they are constantly updating the collections. The video player is very easy to use. The only improvement I can think of: ability to create multiple, custom-named playlists instead of just one "Watch Later" list. Other than that...I really hope Marquee remains popular enough to stick around! I will be heartbroken if it goes away. Keep up the great service! Show more

There is no better way to access fine arts streaming video content than Marquee. The name says it all!

Blowing through 4 or 5 dance programs a week only to find new exciting content following. I love this channel!

I get to watch my favorite ballet company and watch my favorite dancers anytime I want because of this app!

Beware of this company they have now charged me twice after deleting my account (which was just a free trial). Something is weird here.

I have been watching the ballets and they are fabulous! The quality of the recordings are amazing and I cannot say enough about this ballet company, orchestra, and all who make a production possible. If you love classical theatre this definitely the place to be - I especially enjoy the Oscar Wilde collection

Marquee’s catalog is small, the rate at which they acquire new material glacial, and their app primitive. My interests are broad, but I’ve nonetheless exhausted their offerings after only a few months. The app is annoying, lacking any of the niceties of other video players. The quality of the materials is wildly inconsistent, and I’ve often found better productions in higher quality on YouTube for free. While there’s certainly content worth watching and the app is serviceable, none of it justifies the current subscription price. Show more

I love Marquee TV on my web browser and very much enjoy all of the dance performances I am able to watch for such a reasonable monthly rate. However, the app is extremely glitchy and not worth the mental strain to try to operate it. I have had it crash on me multiple times with the only fix being to restart my phone and sometimes to completely delete and redownload the app. I also tried downloading some videos (a really wonderful feature that I was extremely excited about) but if I try to open the app in an area without WiFi the app just glitches flashing between its loading screen and the downloads screen so that I can not actually access the videos. Overall, if they could just fix these bugs the app could be incredible but until then it is almost entirely unusable. Show more

I love having dance and theatre at my fingertips! One major flaw of the app is that it doesn’t let me pick up where I left off in a film, which is annoying having to reload and then figure out where I stopped watching. Please fix this in the next version! I am so happy that this app exists and I don’t want something so small to get in the way of people using and enjoying Marquee.
