There is a problem with volume control in the app.

I am writing this review over a few issues that I am experiencing. I have 2 Devialet Dione soundbars. They sound great when they work but I have been experiencing connectivity issues with both devices. The first issue is with the app - with a device that costs this much, I would expect that the app would automatically recognize the soundbar every single time the tv is turned on however this is not the case. If I open the app, it tells me I have no devices and I have to go through the entire set up process every time. This is an issue because there is no physical remote that is provided and the entire system uses the app for volume control and custom audio settings (the limited settings it offers). The second issue that I am facing is the connectivity to the tv as a whole. After verifying that the cables and all connections and settings on the tv are correct, the sound will not play through the Dione and I have to disconnect all the cables and power off the device multiple times before it starts working again. I’m not sure if this is software based but this is happening with both units that I own. My hope with writing this review is that these issues can be addressed. Thank you! Show more

Having issues with airplay when opening the app. Power saving not as expected. App very limited in features, equalizer a bit short, no advance configuration, can’t control manual IP … happy with the sound , great at high level, average at low level Show more

Speaker regularly looses its connection to the app. In restart it reconnects. To rester the speaker you need to manually use the on button on the speaker. The TV connected via HDMI ARC also regularly looses connection to the speaker… There is a definite need for a better firmware and or app upgrade. The speaker sounds good and looks good. Show more

Hubs bought us the Mania for the portability and quality of sound. We’re dancing and loving it! This app is super simple, sleek and effective. Magnifique!

Audio still locks up on Devialet Dione + LC C2 OLED combos - would like a “Restart” feature until eARC connections prove more stable.

Great sound. Awful app, interface, setup and user experience. Devices don’t get “discovered” Have to be booted and rebooted Now set up and not showing up on Bluetooth.

Setting up Devialet speakers is hit and miss. More often miss than hit. Speakers will also cut off from WiFi for no apparent reason, even though the WiFi point is just next to the speakers. Getting them reconnected often requires a full reset, which as I said before is hit and miss … wasting hours …. Show more

Super product recommend for all don’t be greedy, cost every penny!!!

After 23% connection gets disconnected. Pls fix have tried for several hours to update to no avail. Thx.

Bought my pair of devialet 3 years. The app has barely improved since then. My Devialet constantly disconnect. And some basic features are still missing ( balance for instance ) Show more

On updates stability is very bad

The new app (not so new anymore) doesn’t integrate well with the hardware. It keeps losing them and have to go through set up all over again. Spark used to be simpler, both with set up and controls, although there were less things to control back then. Show more

Devialet is a company that makes good audio hardware. Devialet, please hire some professional software engineers from Fortnite, Apple, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Sony, or Microsoft, etc. don't hire anybody from Meta, that’s a sinking ship. We don't need a pay wall to play each song and then listen to an ad for 5 mins, Every 10 mins. Show more

The speakers sound great…when they work, and they rarely work. Tired of Devialet support blaming my internet, blaming my house wiring, for a product that has such poor connectivity and stability, my $50 Bluetooth speaker blows Devialet away. I’m ready to take it all back to Devialet Pasadena, sit outside in protest so no one else makes the same mistake and call my lawyer to get me out of this $7500 nightmare. App is so glitchy, you follow all instructions and it doesn’t do any of what it says it will do, or it crashes or it simply does nothing. I don’t think I’ve ever had to put so much time, money and energy into a product…especially at this price point. IT SHOULD WORK SEAMLESSLY ALL THE TIME!!! Show more
