I needed a tuner (app or hardware ) that displays cents. It’s not easy finding one. Thus one shows cents, is very sensitive and accurate. Best of all: free!

Worst tuner on Apple ap store

I was able to use the app once and it worked great. Now when I open it my phone freezes up and I have to shut my phone down to get it to work again. Show more

For a couple of bucks well worth it

I bought this product to tune my piano during COVID. It works very well. Since then, I have also used it for tuning my Celtic harp and my harpsichord. I play Baroque music at A=415 and can now the to either equal temperament or mean temperament! Thank you for including these capabilities! Show more

I have been using the same Conn ST-11 Strobotuner since 1977. I use it professionally in my guitar repair shop and it’s been a flawless tool, til now. After 45 years of faithful service, the Conn was having some issues so I looked at just about every other tuner on the market. Compared to the Conn, the Peterson strobe tuners are just too sensitive. The Conn is rated at 1/100 of a semitone whereas the Peterson is 1/1000 of a semitone, which I find non user friendly. I even have a Peterson Strobostomp I don’t use do to the interface being no realistic and difficult to use. I’m so used to the more human feel of the Conn as it allows me to dial in intonation on most guitars easier with more accuracy than most players can possibly hear. It’s better than good enough! Even so, tuners are just tools and not the end-all-be-all for adjusting string length. The Conn just works better for me. I still needed a tuner while mine is being fixed, so I tried the Airyware tuner because it has a Strobe interface as well as a needle. It also allows me to dial out background noise which is important in my busy shop. Is the Airyware perfect? Nope, but it’s as good as an app tuner can be. I wish it could go into a more forgiving scale mode once you approach “in tune” as it does what a lot of cheap tuners do… it gets jumpy as you approach 0. This takes a lot of getting used to and could simply be a manual or automatic adjustment on the app. I dont use any other features of the Airyware so cannot comment on them. I paid for the app once and it’s still working great! The biggest problem is when I went to settings now I’m stuck in settings!! hopefully I can figure out how to get it back!! and I can’t figure out how to put it on 12 string mode if there is one! Check that!! swipe right!!!!! Hahahaha Show more

Best tuner app I’ve tried. Analytical enough for the scientist in us, the results satisfy the artist’s ear. Get the sweetener upgrades, definitely worth it. Tried JT’s formula on my D18, pure magic. Show more
