Great app

Guitar running is a very frustrating challenge because of the instrument is not well tempered. In fact to get it right the strings must not be tuned exactly to concert pitch. Each string must be tuned a bit flat to a greater or lesser degree. This tuner’s sweetening function is even better at this than the Peterson stroboclip device for $70. Show more

This app has worked out as I had hoped. Even better in some ways.

The tuner is the best I’ve ever found. Getting it to work for free was difficult. Now that I broke down and actually paid $4.99+tax, it works, mostly.

Gets stuck on the calibration screen and there’s no way to return to the main screen without deleting the app and reinstalling. Pretty annoying. Plus it’s not sensitive enough to pick up the sound. You have to plug in to an amp for it to hear anything and make sure there’s no background noise. Show more

Great to use on live pro gigs. Graphics make it clear and fast to tune. Not a lot of useless options that get in the way of the application doing its job which this app does extremely well. Show more

It simply works, for guitar and bass. Many others I have tried fall down on the bass this one does not.
