the countless times a phone call, text or whatsapp call cuts off my hour long work and i’m disappointed… it’s tiring, how do i fix this, do not disturb? i’ve tried airplane mode and no dice… i’m running cdj 3000’s, this is a big problem, was better off with my serato on the computer running ddj sx :( Show more

I did a audio test using DJM-REC with twitch. Did a mix and could only get audio from one channel. The audio was also on when the channel fader was down. So only constant audio from one deck. The other deck would not produce any sound at all. Show more

The sound quality starts off good, the longer I play it back the worse the sound gets. Tried on a DJM 750mk2 and also A 900nxs2 and got the same result. Tried the app on my iPad Pro and same thing. I don’t get why pioneer DJ apps are such a nightmare. Show more

I'm DJ Jen Siren and I've posted over 50 DJ sets to SoundCloud that were recorded with DJM-REC. It has been a lifesaver for my pandemic DJ life! I've been able to recod moments where I've freestyled mg best mixes, and also perfect my DJ skills through listening back to my recording. Thank you! My recommendation is to have the ability to adjust the sound on a time scale so that I can taper the volume into the intro and out of the outro. I usually use Ableton for that, but would prefer to be able to directly upload it to SoundCloud as a finished product. That functionally is very nice, and I do appreciate being able to upload to different devices. It would also be cool for DJM-REC to be able to link to my CDJs so that the artists and song titles show up for the timings of my mixes. Right now, I export through recordbox, and upload to SoundCloud as private until I manually copy/paste from the export into my SoundCloud track info. Again, I love this app! Show more

I record a mix and within the first 8 minutes everything just sounds so static

I have lost 2 hour long mix recordings so far ☹️ Let me start by saying that I have all my devices and equipment updated including my DJM-750MK2’s firmware. I am running iOS 14.5.1 in an iPhone 12 Pro and had it in Airplane mode. I have 100+ Gigs available on my device. The main issue: The mix will start out fine. Then at about 10 minutes in I start getting a crackling / distortion sound over the mix for about 30-40 minutes. After that the mix goes back to normal. With high quality like when it started. I’m not clipping and I understand sound levels. I have the full version of the DJM-REC that I paid for (not even sure if there is a free version) PIONEER DJ!!! Fix Your App!!! Show more

The recording feature is great, I would give 5 stars, app keeps crashing when I try to upload to Mixcloud.

Don’t no why app use to work fine now rec playback has a crackling sound

Excluding even DJM Nexus-1 from compatible mixers means what exactly? will you continue adding more mixers to the list? This is not cool Pioneer!!

Love it. Only thing is on the Pioneer DJ website it advertises playable files as 24bit. However, when I look up the info of anything I record using this app it shows 16bit. Show more

Recordings either disappear or are missing several minutes off of them. Not worth using at all.

Hi I have sound issues with facebook live only I have a DJM 900 nxs2 lasted software and every time I go to face live the sound is not clear anymore and also pick up any noice from the room so the sound is not coming directly from the app looks like is getting from the iPhone mic ! Instagram and the rest sound perfect and no outside noises please help thanks Show more

Does not work with every djm mixer. You should correct that listing. I have a djm-2000 mixer and record with a tascam recorder. Thought this would be a seamless way to put some of my mixes out there on twitch or wherever else. $10 sounded too good to be true.. Show more

Recording never picks up a signal, really disappointed.

Snapchat is not needed for going live with this app. Add Twitch instead.

I can’t get my audio to work for the discord app. I’m not sure if discord needs to have it’s own live icon like Instagram and Facebook. It should work with no issue though. :( Show more

Was having a lot of success with this app agin until this last mix. It ended up slowing down the mix almost by 20% in speed! How do I fix this/how douse this happen? Show more

Title basically say it. Haven’t tried the latest update that fully fixed iOS 13 issues. I guess I was lucky with how it actually worked in most ways, as opposed to others where it wouldn’t even get passed the splash screen. The main issue was it not seeing a mixer via USB. That usually worked after a combination of unplugging and replugging in my phone, and power cycling or hard resetting the phone and the mixer. A close second to that would be that the app would switch between how it was recording mid mix, eg: I would have it set to record via the lightning port and then mid-record, it would switch to a mic on the phone. I never figured out a fix for it because I usually found out after everything was done and I was going back over the recording. I did notice it would only happen when I was recording just audio, not streaming or anything video related. The streaming and recording directly off the mixer produced great quality on the audio and video side. Getting a stream or recording going was fairly easy to use as long as the app was stable. The integration to stream right to services as well as being able to save recordings to audio only streaming sites at the end is a great idea with great implementation and worked consistently well. I always save a local copy as well as a backup to Dropbox, but being able to stream and save right out of the app (directly to FB live, IG live, SoundCloud, Mixcloud, etc.) is great on the workflow and ease of use sides of things. Again I haven’t gotten to play around a whole lot with the newest release that supposedly fixed iOS 13 issues, but I will update this review when I get a few more sessions under my belt on it. So far it has been a lot more consistent and stable, along with all the positive aspects from before. Show more

I can’t seem to record more than 5 min..... maybe a bug?

This app is a great idea, but is too buggy to be useful. One moment it isn’t reading digital input from the djm, next it crashes when trying to open the Sertings or File screen. If it ran consistently, I’d give it 5 stars, but then I go to record a mix and it crashes. Really disappointing. Show more
