The newest version of the app added a bunch of presets, and while the idea seems great, they haven’t been super useful, at least for me. What’s worse though, is that it seems to have broken the save state features. When I save a session in BeatMaker 3 (can’t speak for any other DAWs) I often return to sessions later, and find that Lo-Fly will have reset itself to its default setting (which is now a very unpleasant highly distorted preset). This is bad enough when you’re using one instance on a master buss, but when you have multiple instances, going to recover each instance can be a headache. I’d gladly give up the added presets to just be able to save my sessions and have Lo-Fly remember what I dialed in the next time I open the session up. I’m assuming this is a Lo-Fly problem because BM3 has no problem opening up other plug ins with my settings recalled. Other than this issue, it sounds great, don’t make beats without it, haven’t done so in probably 2 years (100s of beats). It’s an absolute staple that just needs some fine tuning. Show more

Crashes constantly during GarageBand sessions especially when you use this plug in on multiple tracks...........

Just bought it and this app is horrible. All it does is crash!

i loved this app, until it started crashing. I would pay money to have this plugin start working like it used to, it really did wonders. Devs pls fix this.

This plug in was great until it absolutely destroyed every song I make with it in GarageBand. I like making lofi beats with my iPad Pro in GarageBand, so I paid for this app and got some good results on the drums and keys for about 2 weeks. Now, every time I load the plugin into a session, the session will eventually error out and say “Audio Extension unit has failed” with the options “Reload” or “Disable”, neither of which will fix the issue. NOT ONLY THAT, but it’s crashing on all the existing songs I plugged it into, ruining hours of work I’ve put into those songs. They cannot export or be edited without this error. All my apps and OS are up to date, uninstalled and reinstalled everything. I regret buying this plugin. Show more

Not gonna lie a lot of drum machines/synths are kinda garbage on iOS but adding this to them has made me change my mind. Adds grit without losing sub frequencies which is important to me. Get this if u need some real tasteful saturation Show more

All this app does is crash, distorts your sounds, and breaks your phone, i purchased it and as soon as i opened it, it crashed, as i played with it all it did was crash garageband. DONT USE WITH EARBUDS, sometimes it bugs out and releases a high pitched sound with will break your ears. it then crashed my phone to the point where i needed to take it to the store. Show more

Just wanted to let you know the app has been crashing in my GarageBand projects consistently (iPad Pro 3rd gen.) really like the plug-in hope it gets fixed in an update soon so I can continue to use it! Show more

Does exactly as advertised. Love the punch it adds to my track and the ease of use. Recently been using it on the vocal tracks for added effects. App that has made music production easy. Just June bug Show more

I instantly felt goosebumps when I applied this effect. There is no need for compression with it my drums knock so hard smh. I have no idea how to use the app. So far it just seems like a drum sequencer and that’s it. I have no clue how to get it to do anything with Garage Band. All it is is a knob and drum effects to me. Show more

The app isn’t recognizing the plugin and I can’t even see it when I use GarageBand need help like ASAP

If you for some reason select mode 2, it plays this high pitched screeching noise at full volume. Please fix this, because I’m stupid and keep accidentally pressing it lol

Cool app that does its job. I use the Sp404 vinyl mode within the app in tandem with their DAW cassette app. The SP brings out the lows and the tape app helps add a lil character. I hope they continue providing updates bc it’d be cool to get new features, but def happy w it so far. Show more
