Would recommend this to anyone who likes Metal Music. Every hour you get different DJ’s playing old, new and unusual bands. I’ve found so many bands to listen to and expand my horizons. They also have integration with Spotify which will create your own personal Gimme Metal playlist of all the songs you like. They also have a chat feature so you can talk to fellow fans and it will also give factoids about the band playing. Can’t recommend it enough, give it a try. Show more

When you download the app, you get access to two stations. You can’t add anymore stations or search up stations without having to pay a monthly fee. This is one of the most disgusting paywalls I’ve ever encountered. Show more

This station is by far the best metal station ever. I love that nearly every sub genre of metal is represented, and you aren’t subjected to hits we’ve all heard a million times, they are played sparingly. I also love that there are DJ’s, it’s nice to hear them voice their opinions and share metal experiences. Another great thing, is that they archive their shows. Show more

Finally an offering curated by actual fans for fans!! We will never have a day when metal and all of its sub genres will be played day and night on FM radio so these kind folks gave us gimmie radio and I am beyond thankful that this station exists and I tell all of my pals about it..I’ve discovered many new bands because of gimme too which is the best part about it Regardless if it’s hidden under a rock relics or up-and-coming Titans still waving the flag and keeping the flame burning..I used to discover new music through magazines and college radio but that’s out of sight and has been for a while ever since I left the bay area and college radio where I live is lame sauce 10,000 leagues under the sea. Instagram had an ad for gimme metal and unlike usual I actually signed up and I couldn’t be happier. I’m still a newb in the metal scene especially black,death etc. and gimme has expanded my knowledge so much. Awesome djs and minimal ads. Also you can save your favorite songs to Spotify. They have so many different djs I feel like I’ve been learning more about all the different types of metal than I would on my own. Give it a try!!! Show more

Great DJs playing awesome HC/punk and METAL!!

I don't know that I would count him out as of yet. I've had Sirius for years and I have yet to find any other source that comes close to the audio quality that Sirius delivers. As delivered by a dedicated receiver,not sure about streaming quality.maybe he his so 2012, but many are so much more than that. It's a little hyped and not the apex of metal entertainment as the five stars are declaring. Show more
