So, I discovered this app after buying my first iPad Pro. I’m a woodwind and percussion player that’s been playing for decades. The sounds, to me, are amazing. The OG sounds of the classic Electric Piano/Rhodes took me back to the release of the real deal. The newer sounds are very inspiring to creators. In some situations where there’s no keys guy, I can open this app and do a little filler and the audience is none the wiser. Love this synth. The sounds are exactly what I wanted. The main issue is that there is not a instance of the app that it doesn’t crash on me. It happens when playing while changing presets or just changing presets period. I want to use this live but are way too nervous to do so. Show more

Contacted support but no answer. Both apps are not working on my iPad . All others are working properly I wish I could use that again. Plz help me

Soon as I select any other preset it crashes cubasis 3. In standalone mode it sounds great, but that isn’t why I got it in ther first place. I can’t recomend it at all until they get that. fixed. All software is updated to it’s newest version too. Show more

Every time I try to use midi it crashes

I have 3 midi keyboard on my drum setup and this app has been loads of fun and is working on an old iPad mini.

If your like me you will research but let me save you some time. Get it you won’t regret it.

The sounds are ok, however in GarageBand or BM3 it constantly crashes when scrolling through patches or won’t load at all when opening projects saved when using it.

The sounds won't play, or play intermittently after shutting down and restarting. It's extremely frustrating. All of my other apps work just fine (Moog, Tal-U-NO-LX). Skip this one.

DX7 meets iOS. The sounds are very punchy and stand out in the mix.

This is fun to play around with and also provides serious kit for making real music.

Still using this synthesizer due to its unlimited advantage of Bluetooth connectivity and the work load taken off of my laptop by running my synth on my iPad Pro and 12 different tracks on my iPad Air I have completely shrunk my studio and with the CAMMERA kit I can plug a full scale synth into this app and still have zero delay. I have purchased and/or downloaded every single AudioKit synth and in general am very pleased with them. The sounds in this synth are killer. However I have to give it 3 stars because I’m experiencing a serious bug — when using the app as an AUv3 plugin with Cubasis the synth is skipping playback of notes. I’ve been in communication with the Cubasis folks and they’ve confirmed that switching to another synth fixes the problem and they have identified that the problem is with this synth. So would love for one of the devs to contact me. I have a stripped down sample project in Cubasis that illustrates the problem (same one I sent to the Cubasis team) that I can share that will hopefully make it easier to track down and fix the problem. This, right here, is the most important thing you need to know about this application. If you’ve got a lot of AUV3’s and you enjoy the flexibility that provides, you won’t want this, no matter how cheap it is. Notice how the 5 star reviews are years old. Currently, if you create a tune in GarageBand with this instrument, when you “Share”, THIS INSTRUMENT WILL NOT PLAY! It hasn’t worked in awhile, was hoping this latest release would fix it, and it doesn’t. Without being able to “Share” the resulting song from GarageBand, this instrument is useless. The best part about this update is that they at least finally tell you that the AUv3 problem you’re having with the app is NOT going to be fixed, it’s primarily meant for standalone use. So, while AUv3 is gaining ground across the universe of mobile apps, this one won’t be coming along for the trip, unfortunately. Show more

When I try to record and send a file thru email, there’s no sound from this app.. every other sound is there except anything from this app
