Not worth the time or money

I think this app is probably incredible…if you’re running a much stronger iPad than what I’m using. I’m on an iPad Air 2, and I can’t get the app to stay open for longer than a moment once I start using my MIDI controller with it. It just crashes. Shame, because it’s a great interface with lots of power to shape sounds, with tons of presets of the classic DX series. Truly want to give it 5 stars but I don’t think it’s going to work with my iPad. :( Show more

The app has great sounds but it keeps crashing when in midi settings. Can’t find a fix for it.

This is a no brainer. Sounds exactly like the hardware keyboard synth, Whitehall is a pricey machine. I love you guys if possible everyone who can should donate a love offering to the developers and or the company for emulating a perfect well designed software version of a state of the art instrument. ??✌? Does not work my Reface DX via usb midi. As soon as you play a chord it crashes and it’s huge disappointment as I love using this keyboard for everything.

I know it's far fetched but is it possible to make it work with older iPads . I don't need all the functions just the basics sounds , thanks for trying , ,! Show more

First I want to thank all the people involved in making these instruments of fun! When I was younger I wanted to be part of making music in some way, after trying different instruments I couldn’t find one that I was comfortable with and while helping a friend with his new band I was drawn to the synthesizer and all it could do! But I couldn’t afford it, not even close. I still can’t afford the big fancy units they make today.but because of all your efforts and passion to bring music to the kids and the kid at heart I am now! I fully support you and your efforts to do just that and will buy from you first before even looking somewhere else, because I know it goes back to the kids. The sounds are incredible! better than some of the other units I had looked into before finding you. The amount of presets already installed are crazy good and generous. When I was playing around and found even more presets hidden within the unit.(don’t worry I’m not saying where they are, don’t want to spoil the surprise) it was even better.since buying this one I have gotten 6 others and haven’t been disappointed.not once not one glitch or crash! I’ll do my part as I can to help in bringing music to the rest of us, the less fortunate and funded.I sincerely thank you and appreciate all of you. Steve Show more

With this app and some Bluetooth speakers you can be the star of the party.Tons of sounds, arps, seqs and control. Give it a spin!

This here is by far the best Yamaha DX7 app there is I feel like I’m living 1983 even though I wasn’t alive then!!!

My only problem with this app is the frequent shutoff. Also as of recent, im unable to bounce audio from midi when I’m creating with this app. This has been extremely frustrating. Also anytime im in my daw (bm3) and i stop the track the fm volume goes straight to 0. Show more

I love this syth, it sounds so authentic and unique. The only thing I really wish it had was an ability to record project files instead of loading it into GarageBand ( which crashes often.) Otherwise I’d rate it 5 stars. Show more

Apple’s stupid swipe-out triggered without my consent and it deleted my long review... I just can’t win can I. I love the app but when recording it looks like it is but then it isn’t there when done. It vanishes. D1 has a similar issue. Both reset settings when switching between instruments and messing with volume. Show more
