I put on the pink noise sound for twenty minutes and went to sleep and it almost made me deaf. Will not be using again

For an app that is supposed to help you sleep why would an ad start playing once you are asleep and wake you up? Terrible

Very peaceful ocean sounds that work great. I just wish they were constant instead of stopping for a few seconds every few minutes. That would make my rate a 5. Show more

I was loving this app for my newborn all the way up until it decided to play ads of creepy children whispering and screaming. Scared the hell out of me. I’ll go buy a sound machine. Show more

If you have tinnitus or hyperacusis, this app might be a life-changer for you. I know it was for me. The pink noise provides sound enrichment for my ears and helps “reset” them. The best method I’ve found to make it work is to put the iPhone’s actual speaker right next to my ear and slowly move it back and forth. If you have tinnitus or hyperacusis, it means your ears need to reset and are hungry for sound enrichment. Pink noise is the best way to enrich them!! Look up Chris Singleton on YouTube if you think you might have hyperacusis (sensitivity to every days noises). I just have one small criticism of this app. I would like to be able to pay to have the ads removed. Show more

A male voice randomly started talking in the app about having children in the middle of my rainstorm. It woke up my sleeping baby. Not okay.

Fall asleep and an ad will play music periodically. If your using this to help you sleep that’s the last thing you want. 2am and awake writing this review bec this is the second time an add has played loudly waking me since 9pm. Terrible app. Show more

I wanted to love this app however the obnoxious ads leading to malware ridden sites and the ads that disrupt the ambient sounds at random, made it impossible. I thought it was a one off but what went from one ad startling me and my baby awake quickly became 2 or 3 same night. The sound are imperfectly looped together and dips in the track could also be disturbing to the sleeper. Even if this app went paid, I would not spend the money for adfree given the experience. There is a competitive market for this type of app. Don't waste your time. Show more

Great selections of sounds. I use a combination of pink noise, forest, and ocean and sleep like a baby.

Love love love this app I use it whenever I vacation and don’t have a physical fan or ac! Puts me right to sleep so quickly. Only issue I have is the rare random ads bc they’ll wake me up in the middle of the night where I’m like who the hell is watching smth next to me just to find out it’s my phone! I’d definitely pay to remove the ads if it was possible :/ Show more

I tried this out because I was looking for pink noise to help me sleep. All of a sudden a loud ad came on, woke me up, and scared me half to death! Then I couldn’t get back to sleep because of the adrenaline! Don’t bother! Show more

This app was wonderful for about a week, then one night musical ads begin to start up half an hour into the start of the pink sound app. A few days later the same thing happened again. What kind of sense does it make to pop up musical ads during a sleeping aid app? This app is useless. I would rather pay a reasonable fee up front and sleep peacefully! Show more

Love this app but it randomly starts blasting the ads. I don’t mind having to watch an ad to launch it but having it interrupt your sleep like that, defeats the purpose. Show more

What are you thinking? Why would you accept noise making adds on an app for helping people sleep? Ruins app.
