The last update fixed the title showing up with music playing, but now it’s back to the crappy Alexa screen when music is playing. Really annoying. They need to fix it again and this time for good. Show more

Can’t get it to pop up on F150 screen. Says connected on phone. Went it settings and still nothing! ??‍♂️

This app constantly runs in the background using 92% of my battery. It would make my phone get hot and the battery would run out in only a couple hours. I turned of the wake up word and it ran less in the background and didn’t get hot, but then my truck couldn’t find all my music. So to sum up it works great as long as you have phone constantly plugged in and don’t mind a hot phone. Show more

Noticed my phone battery needing recharged sooner than normal. Review of battery usage identified this app as culprit - btw I don't even use the app nor have manually opened it. I do have a sync 3 equipped ford carplay system I use daily. Show more

After this last update the app was using 96 percent of the battery, something is wrong.

This solution is very limited, doesn’t play Spotify. There is no replacement for Apple car play

This app is not intuitive at all. This is being used in a vehicle and you can’t even get directions to work? I have all the setting properly placed to be able to get my location and it cannot give them- says I need to check my settings for location permissions yet it can give me the name of things close to me? Very poor app. Will be deleting. Very disappointed Show more

I downloaded the app, but the first instruction is to close down Car Play. But, why in the world would I want to do that? I like Car Play because it integrates some features of my Iphone with Sync; so why would I give that up to open Alexa? I don’t know. I can’t come up with a reason. Show more

This app is drawing my battery at a rate of 30% an hour. Just like the Ford pass app before this one needs to be fixed. Delete immediately to save you battery until they fix it. I have is set to only use location while using and it was on all the time with me even opening the app. Very poor design. Waiting for a fix before I reinstall. Show more

Have a 2016 explorer platinum and this doesn’t work at all. Should prob mention that. Or maybe I am missing something.

In order to use this app, I had to disable Apple CarPlay. The Alexa app does not integrate with navigation, and displays very little information on my trucks screen. It feels like it has about 20% of the functionality of Apple CarPlay. I have no idea why this is supposed to be an improvement. Just use Google play or Apple CarPlay since your device already has that, and you will get much better functionality. If zero stars were an option, I would select that. Show more

I’ve deleted the app, but it’s still draining my battery!

My phone battery has been terrible and I just checked the battery stats and this app is using all my battery in the background. Deleted.

Could never get it to work with CarPlay. Did everything right even upgraded my Escape to the newest SYNC firmware. Glad I waisted my time.

Why would it be disabled with CarPlay? Seriously!!!

This app is fluky at best, works off and on, won’t acknowledge voice activation, and the last update was over a year ago! Surprised that a major automaker has not addressed this issue or issued a notice of update in progress. Amazon Alexa & Amazon Music is a major contender to Apple Music. Show more

Won’t work with Car Play and must have iPhone plugged in to USB for it to work as a stand alone. I could handle the former if Alexa worked with my iPhone via Bluetooth, but won’t keep iPhone plugged in to USB just for Alexa to work and basically nothing else. Just not worth it, and very disappointed. Show more
