I don’t put music on my phone I use Apple Music and other steaming apps. I can’t actually use the headphones to full capacity because this app only reads music that’s placed on the phone. It should be able to talk to other apps and work together. Show more

Until they allow the EQ to be allowed while listening on other platforms this app is useless. If you subscribe to Tidal or Spotify or if you prefer to just use the native music app you cannot use the EQ. This problem is also making me consider returning the headphones. Many companies have been able to have this on their apps, no excuse for Shure to not have this. Show more

I just got my Shure AONIC headphones and loved them until ai downloaded this app. I mean this basic app with minimal functions, no real EQ and no ability to use basic functions on headphones outside of the app would be expected from other brands. But SHURE? They should be embarrassed. You can’t adjusted levels unless your playing music through the app?!? That means no Spotify or tidal streaming, you movies or YouTube videos, no audio books, no mediation app, no video calls.... There should be a 20 channel EQ (w/ customizable presets that resides in the headset regardless of the sources) THIS IS LITERALLY WHAT SHURE DOES. Maybe this will be coming? Probably not and it should have been part of the app from day 1. I’m 80% sure I’ll be returning these headphones tomorrow. Show more

My apple music Playlist is not syncing. I have all access turned on and it still won't bring anything over. I would love to use this app but if I can't get music to transfer over there no point! Show more

Needs customizable controls & user adjustable EQ for environment mode. The new Environment mode has ear piercing amounts of hiss even at the lowest setting ?. Much less usable now. Loving my AONIC250’s! Missing the ability to customize the controls on the headset however. Having customized controls for each ear would be a huge plus. Being able to enable environment mode with a single press for example (as a customizable setting) would help the hearing impaired significantly with accessibility (vs missing a double press and feeling a bit stupid about it). Also, it was in the manual that calls would only come out of one ear with this headset but if it is possible to update this in the future it would be great for accessibility and the hearing impaired. Where’s the watch app? If it works for phones, you should make it work for watches also... please update it. Other than that, it’s awesome.

Title says it all- the app functions perfectly on iPhones and works fine on iPads but provides the iPhone display. It doesn’t seem to grab Apple playlists, but it’s fine for managing your Shure BT devices. Works fine with the AONIC TW system and had a custom configuration available for the SE846, which smooths out the iOS volume settings very well. It’s also got a facility for firmware updates as they arise in the future. Show more

Unfortunately it doesn’t support shure BT2 on iOS .

Love this app

Overall found it sufficient. But this badly needs to support device selection from connection history.

As a long time user of SE in ear headphones and also the first Bluetooth adaptor they created, they are headed towards disaster with the Aonic 215’s. This app doesn’t fix the problems, only highlights what is wrong. Don’t waste your money on the Aonic 215’s and get Apple’s AirPod Pros. Show more

This is my number one music player, I like loudness EQ it is so special. You can add the way to import the playlist from Apple music player.

Great app very easy to use and nice interface. My main issue is the audio left and right channel balance is not accurate with Bluetooth earphones. Please fix this issue. Otherwise love this app Show more

Great app but it essentially only plays one song at a time before hanging. It seems to be an IOS 13.x issue. Hopefully there will be an update soon. ?

Crashes and freezes a lot. Tried re-installing after iOS 13 upgrade. But, performance when it works is excellent. Best audio quality especially if you have Shure earphones. Keep bug fixes coming Shure! Show more

while listening to one track I cannot back up and look at the library. So to change tracks I have to quit and reopen the app. I am using an iPhone 7 with newest iOS. I have reinstalled the app and the problem still exists. Show more

It is superior to the built in player in every way supporting even a basic parametric equalizer which come including several different useful presets and supporting several high resolution formats. There are other options that offer more but the ones I encountered cost money, have severe bugs, include ads or some combination. Show more

Pros: nice interface, great EQ with custom presets, easy playlist creation, none of the Apple online services (yes, that’s a good thing), no attempt at recreating the Apple “up next” travesty, accessed music library but doesn’t see playlists. Cons: no iPad version, no apparent way to share playlists or EQ presets between devices So, if one wants to only play back from a phone and needs EQ settings for multiple audio systems this is a solid app with a nice interface. It will not replace the app Equalizer on my phone for when in need EQ presets (eg. Bluetooth speakers) though. Am still stuck with the the Apple app to sync playlists. If this app could get the playlists from the Apple app the way Equalizer does, it would get 5 stars and become my go to playback app. Show more
