This app works! I upload my PDF sheet music, and it “turns pages” for me. What more could I want? I don’t need to wink at it, it listens as you play. The first time it “turned a page” for me, I was a bit confused, but I quickly sorted out what was happening,and it’s simply wonderful. You can also swipe to turn a page if you so desire. I just wanted to ask you if it could be possible to change the way we can use Apple Pencil to write on the scores, sometimes it becomes annoying to erase by the system it is now instead a normal eraser as other notes app. Besides that I just love the app. Show more

No more carrying tons of music books to the gigs. Snap a picture and it’s in my line up. Everything is organized in one place. No more turning pages, risking my worn out music scores falling apart. It’s amazing how you can send any sheet music from any web site to KeyScore and it creates an exact copy on your tablet. You can also use your device camera to copy music you own. It takes just a little practice to make exact copies with just the tap of the camera button, but it even aligns each page. You can automatically transpose any score for the instrument of your choice via the transpose function. There is a built in metronome when you need it. It’s easy to reconfigure your index to list selections by composer, title, or genre with the tap of a button. Auto page turning: works very well. It’s under the ‘tracking’ option which the app will set up automatically or you can specify some options to include. The tracking then highlights each measure as you play so you don’t lose your place in the song. It uses the microphone and some optical recognition to accomplish this task as well as page turning without any input from the performer at all. Like magic! You can also record the song and play along with it without any additional equipment or apps. So you could accompany yourself on duets. It’s surprising that an app that does all this is FREE (at least at this time 7/2022). I use the IPad Pro 12.5” and while the iPad is pretty expensive, it is a perfect companion for this app. Show more

I like it so much that I am worried that I won’t be able to transfer it if my iPad crashed. The pictures I’ve taken of sheet music and songs involves much work. How will I transfer all the PDF files to a new iPad and get them to show up on KeyScore (?) -which I will most definitely download and use again and again. Show more

I have been using the automatic page turning feature of this app and it is incredible! It has taken a little getting used to, but after I figured out some of its quirks, I am going to use it when I accompany an elementary school choir next week. As a software engineer and a musician, I am very impressed by what they have figured out how to do. Show more

There are several high quality apps available for printed music and one can turn pages with a foot pedal. But, a pianist uses both feet for different pedals. Keyscore allows one to focus on the music and not worry about having a page turner-human-interfering. It’s a first rate app with top notch support. Show more

I finally decided to get an IPad for my music as I have played outdoors a lot this summer (thanks COVID). I got tired of struggling with the wind and turning pages in the wind. This app helps me organize my music into programs and even turns pages for me. It’s been a learning process, but the educational tools provided have been very helpful. Whenever I’ve had a problem I couldn’t figure out, I’ve been able to contact customer service and have gotten a prompt response. One night I was struggling to get page turns to work for the next evening’s program. Tim helped me that evening and made some edits to my music to get them to work. I especially like the half page turns that don’t leave me in limbo until the full page is turned. I was also able to mark my music using my finger until I got my pencil. I’m also saving money on printer ink which has been adding up fast lately since much of my music is sent to me via email now. Show more

Great enhancements and excellent tutorials.I am enjoying the edit features and the great script to text conversion for note taking. I also like the tuning feature. It is so much more accurate than the little peg head mounted units (for guitar) Show more

I downloaded today and started watching the tutorials on YouTube. I have been looking for an app to keep my music organized and I have found it. Such a great app and it’s free! Thanks to the person that created this. I love how I can create playlist. I have one for songs I know and one for songs I want to learn. I even scanned my jazz real books in and had the app automatically detect each song to keep them in sections. It didn’t get all of them but it did get most. Granted the real book music sheets are mostly hand written so I understand if it couldn’t recognize some. I think this app is great as is but am excited to see any updates to come. Probably the only feature I would like to see improved is when you add a backing track. I haven’t quite figured it out completely but enough to where it works. This app is amazing!

I just started playing bass guitar and the first performance I shuffled sheet music around on the music stand. I noticed others had iPad apps so did a quick search and found a few but this one does everything I need plus more and works very well! And it’s FREE! This KEYSCORE app is a treasure....I’m having so much fun watching my offertories being transformed right before my eyes into a bright, clear, & cleanly marked copy. This app is truly amazing with features like expanding margins, adding fingering, jotting text notes including changing handwritten into text, using colorful highlighting, rearranging the order of songs, printing a page, plus undo, erase and even white out options. And the BEST feature is the auto page turn...I can now play a 4-page offertory straight through, focusing on my sacrifice of praise rather than when to turn the page. As church pianist, I can see me easily leaving my pile of song books and notebooks at home and taking my iPad instead. And all this from a senior citizen (age 78). ??‍?PTL! Show more

This app is a amazing. Imagine having your pages turn without the use of a foot pedal! This is a life saver for pianists and especially organists who already have enough to do with their feet. I am a classical pianist and this app worked for contemporary pieces that had changing meters and unusual sounds. Also, your scores can be organized in one place so that you have them with you when you are away from your studio. You can annotate your score and share it with someone, as well as record what you are playing to share with someone (or not!). The scan feature is so helpful.....no more fussing with the scanner on your flatbed printer. Just take a picture and it gets converted to a pdf. I have been recommending this to colleagues and students. Give this a try. Show more

This is a useful app for organizing your sheet music. It does what i want and it never gave me a hard time. Get it!

I love this app, but I had some trouble getting clear images when I scanned a particular piece. As a result, the page turn feature didn’t work consistently. When I mentioned that in my previous review, one of the developers responded and encouraged me to contact them via email which I did. After several email exchanges and following Tim’s suggestions, the page turn feature is working almost perfectly on that one song. I suspect that the biggest problem is that my iPad is pretty old, but Tim did everything in his power to help me get the best result possible. Not only is KeyScore a great app, but their customer service is the best! Show more
