App doesn’t work

I woundn’t use another Polk product if it was free.

This app is very poor in trying to connect Echo Dot (in the sound bar) to Wi-Fi. I’ve tried it at least 10-15 times after resetting all devices to factory original settings. Rebooted Wi-Fi, iPhone and nothing works. Wish Polk would update the app. This is the last time I’ll buy a Polk product. Wish we could rate with a zero star. Show more

Garbage of products. Zero service

I have no idea why my system doesn’t do the same way it did when the installation tech demonstrated it on the day I bought it. It seems like anything you try to activate on the soundbar isn’t even receiving the commands. I can’t do anything with my bass subwoofer, the green light is on for power but never a sound coming out. I guess I’m just another one who got ripped! Show more

Bad

When you attempt to log in on an iPhone, or sign up, that’s all you’ll see. Perhaps the API service is offline now, but it just flat out refuses to login. When I made the account online, the submit button didn’t seem to do anything. I checked the network request and it was definitely trying, just not well. When this gets fixed I can likely give a better review. For now, it’s unusable. I’ve tried on latest iOS 15 and iOS 14, as well as an iPad (unsure or version). Show more

My SB1 stopped working. Thought I’d download the app and do an update to see if that was the problem. Well.. forget that, the app will not work. The app won’t even support the SB1 apparently besides not working. $500 down the drain. Sooo disappointed. #NeverAgainPolk Show more

This system is terrible! It always has connectivity issues. The subwoofer is always going in and out and the app is terrible at settting up the system plus it’s hard to get it to connect to Amazon. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this to anybody. Show more

Took a leap back to Polk after a few years..what happened?! To connect or not to connect, you can wildly guess the answer based on reviews alone. Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, that makes the most sense. Obviously nobody’s at the helm of the ship. To bad Show more

I had no issues with the sound bar or app.

By far the biggest pile of junk of an app I’ve ever used. Polk clearly doesn’t care once you’ve purchased their products. My Polk command bar of crap only works for maybe a day when we have to reset it. App is the cheapest non user friendly and useless app Show more

I saw many reviews about Polk poor WiFi support. I am tech savvy and thought I can handle it. Realized it is the bug with their network firmware. Sound bar that I purchased don’t have the Ethernet port. So I really don’t have an option to upgrade the firmware too. I am planning to return this crap Show more

This sound system is beyond trash

Your app freezes as soon as I try to log in. No good!!

This Polk Sound system works great out of the box, but if you have to connect it again for any reason you are screwed. The app is faulty and keeps showing error codes rendering the sound bar useless. Show more

I’ve had this bar for a year or so. Took me hours the first time to hook it up. Had to change my WiFi password and can’t get it to connect. Keeps telling me there was an error to restart the app or sound bar. I’ve done both multiple times. 2 hours later still can’t connect. Do not buy unless your into aggravation. Going to toss it and find one that works. Show more

App desperately needs an update. Consistently has connectivity issues. However audio is great from the CommandBar when you can control it.
