    Fantastic Value
A phenomenal app that captures all the fatness of the Minimoog at highway robbery prices.

Now I don't have to record my iPad into my DAW
I applaud the developers for making a Mini Moog Mac app. Now I do not have to break out the iPad and setup everything to make it record.

Killer Moog Sounds & Amazing Value
Thank you for bringing this rock solid favorite to macOS for M1 Macs, Moog. And the presets browser update is light years faster to navigate than the old layout. The best just keeps on getting better! Show more

    Moog minimoog app
The moog app combined with a midi keyboard and encoders is absolutely incredible and in some ways better than the original minimoog. Highly recommended!

True to the Original, but with much more flexibility.
Arturia’s Mini Moog model D for the iPad is the perfect combination of the touch interface and real-to-life emulation of the original - with many added features. Check out the long list, you’ll be impressed. Also, I am easily able to control Arturia’s Mini Moog model with the my electric and electro-acoustic guitars using MIDI Guitar 2 with almost no latency. Also can easily attach keyboards and other controllers. Show more

    Review updated
Yay! I had no idea that the UI could be magnified, which makes my big complaint about it not valid ! Thank you Moog for responding so quickly and letting me know I was just silly :) Show more

    Feels realistic!
Playing this app inspires me to create music just the same as if I was in front of the real thing.

    Very rich sound
Amazingly rich sound. I would love to hear some demos of this app side by side a physical minimoog model D. But even if not the same, that is probably not a big deal, this software is rich enough sound it could be useful even to someone with access to the physical instrument. Show more

Great for professional use as well
Just downloaded this MiniMoog app. It’s running perfectly on my 5th Gen iPad Pro 12.9”. I compared it to a $2,000 competing non-Moog however analog mono synth and it held up. I’m using the iRig Pro Duo I/O to connect audio out to my professional console. And it’s sounding very good. Worth the price of the app! Compared to a $7,500 vintage MiniMoog Model D I would say get this you will like it! Show more

    Amazing App
The sound the app produces is almost indistinguishable from the original Mood model D.It’s a great way to get introduced to the world of Moog. Especially at that price you can’t beat it. Show more

Sounds like a moog but lag city
On screen keyboard is useless due to its input lag.

    Inspiring
As someone who had no clue what a moog was, this app has blown my mind and completely inspired me. Best iPad app I’ve seen.

    MOOG
Finally I can moog like a miniature cow in my art for the world (my mom) to hear. Cow go MOOOOOOG. In all seriousness though this is a fantastic synth. Definitely worth what they charge in the App Store. This app stays true to the hardware original. Get it Show more

Great sound quality, UI could be improved.
Getting the type of sound that Model D delivers is not that easy out of other synths (if at all possible), it has very distinct and unique tone. I tried mimicking it using couple of other iPad synths but the harmonic thicknesses just wasn’t there. Excellent synth and a must-buy for anyone looking for excellent quality Moog tones. UI is the main drawback for me though. It’s awkwardly designed imho, especially AUv3. Things are placed into Settings/Advanced that are part of the synthesizer controls: Legato/Retrigger/Poly, LFO waveform, contour shape. And in AUv3, in addition to those (because keyboard portion is removed) the following things are also moved to Settings: LFO rate, Mod amount, Glide and Decay. I hope the Developer will give us all of the synth’s controls on one page in some near future. There’s plenty of room, and that’s not what Settings is for anyway. Settings are for app-related stuff like knob behavior, color scheme, MIDI settings etc, not for things like LFO rate and modulation amount. Text labels are a bit tiny. I can read it if I move my face very close to my 10.5” iPad, but there’s plenty of room to make them a bit larger. Preset management is nice if you intend to ever create/use like 10 or 20 presets, top slider holds 6 of them and gives quick access to switch between them. Tap right/left to get another 6. This is great if you’re playing live. But if you want to make more presets, then this kind of scrolling interface is completely unproductive. If you get more presets later, it’ll be pretty hard to go through them as well. A standard scrollbox where you can quickly browse categories and patches to get to the ones you need is kind of hard to beat - why reinvent the wheel. Presets are alphabetical, so that’s definitely a plus, (those slot-based preset systems some synth-makers cling to can be very annoying to manage). Overall, I’m glad I bought this synth, amazing sound quality! Though I wish it had better UI and standard presets browser. Show more

    Just so good.
Great sound. Some of the other virtual synths sound hollow/not full/no depth. This synth though has all though things and more. The real world look and feel of the knobs top notch. But; the playability and sound top notch. Show more
