    Bad App Don’t Use It
This app is horrible and not needed. It bombs updating the Acton 2 every time to a point you just give up. This is pitiful of a great name like Marshall. Show more

    Big sound, dynamic presence
I have Marshall guitar amps and play along with all types of music and need a clear, crisp audio playback system for learning new songs and just jammin’! Yes, I have the Stockwell 2 and loved that so when I read a review of the Acton 3 I knew I needed one. I waited 3 months or so then finally when it became available I didn’t hesitate and I’m more than pleased with it. My neighbors like it too! Show more

    Works great
I bought a pair of noise canceling earphones and connected to them with this app. It works perfectly.

    Started good but now stuck
Updates never complete. Been stuck on it for weeks

    Superior sound
I still use my airpod pros for work calls because they connect so easily, but when you need to listen to music there is no comparison. The app is also great for adjusting the equalizer for your preferred sound, and the noise cancellation is even better than the over-ear Bose headphones. The pass-through sound feature is also pretty slick, though I haven’t had much use for it. Show more

Coupling broken on new app update
I have two Stanmore II Bluetooth speakers that coupled fine on the previous version of the iOS app. I just updated to the new version today and can’t get the speakers to pair at all. No change in position, and they’ve paired fine for the past year before this update. Please either roll back the update or fix this asap — a lot of us spent quite a bit of $ for the second speaker to couple, and this renders it useless. Show more

    Fix this app
This app used to work perfectly fine. No issues. Ever since I updated it, every time I open it I have to re add my device, and then install ‘firmware’ which takes an obnoxious amount of time. Even if I open the app twice in the same day etc. can you fix this app to work how it used to? Sick of adding my one device. Show more

    What fixes?!
We bought our Stanmore II Voice w/AlexaYear and a half ago. Sound is fantastic, but my husband and I are constantly battling to connect with the speaker. for a while, my phone couldn’t even find the speaker. I think I rebooted the app and was able to pair it again. So OK, that annoying problem was solved. but now, we purchased the Acton II to couple with our Stanmore for multiroom ambient play. The Acton has no problem being found in the app, but the Stanmore is nowhere to be found. Both speakers appear in my Bluetooth settings and are connected. Still only the Action shows up in the app. Yet, the Stanmore plays the audio?! and regardless, the whole point was to couple of them which is not possible. There is little or no troubleshooting available in the app and customer support is only by email. Anyone who has worked with technology glitches knows that emailing for troubleshooting is a lost cause. It’s only now that I am seeing all these poor reviews. I just can’t believe Marshall would allow its brand to be tarnished by a technology that is so critical for the modern listener. Show more

    Don't bother--Doesn't work
App wouldn't recognize or pair with my Stanmore II, despite reboots, forgetting the device and re-adding it (the phone could find and create a new connection, but not the app), reloading the app, etc. Life is too short for this much frustration! Don't bother. Show more

    Unusable after recent update
The app crashes every time i tap the bar on the bottom to attempt to change the volume of my speaker from my phone, making the app totally useless. I for some reason also had to install the speaker update 3 or 4 times before the app stopped telling me it needed to update. Its a shame because everything was working just fine a week ago. Show more

App does not recognize my emberton ll
I had hoped this app would give me a “little” help with tweaking the sound of my emberton ll and thus the reason I bought this model over the emberton. I love the sound from it. It is very warm and not too tweaky. But, would liked to have seen if I could get a little more “highs” out of it. But, alas no….since the app continually says there is no emberton ll to connect too. Meh
Some pretty okay features, but the apps usefulness begins and ends with the ability to turn on my speaker from a distance. Without that I can’t imagine getting to much use out it. Show more

    No adjustable equalizer
I cannot comment in the process of pairing multiple speakers together in Stack mode as I only have one (the Willen), but I am disappointed in how limited this app is. There are only 3 equalizer presets and I cannot find an actual adjustable equalizer anywhere. Show more

    Don’t Trust the One-Star Reviews!
If you take a look at the actual review, it’s MOSTLY people who OWN MULTIPLE Speakers but use the App FOR A SINGLE SPEAKER! - Marshall has Multi-Room/Multi-Speaker features - Those Features are utilized via a SEPARATE APP! Those reviews are just like Amazon One-Star Reviews for a TV because it “ARRIVED LATE!!” Or “TV was broken, looks like someone at UPS kicked the box!” • You’re not supposed to review the shipping process for a review of a product. There are definitely issues with this app, but Mein Gott, how can people be so thick when 1) The Instructions/a quick google/etc tell you to get a Different App 2) They open the app, see no options for multiple speakers and assume the app is broken. b) it’s like downloading “Google Maps” but you actually downloaded “Google Meet” blame it for not having Maps and also don’t suspect that it’s the wrong app Show more

    Terrible- buy other speakers
Zero customer support. I bought 2 Stanmore II speakers. It will play through 1 just find. If you can get this app to couple the speakers- and you likely won’t… if you do- it cuts in and out playing some music on one then the other then stutters the music. I have the speakers 1 meter apart. No interference. Phone within 1 meter or less of the speakers. Listen- these speakers can’t play in stereo - I don’t care what marshal tells you. They can’t. Buy one you’re ok. Buy 2 and use second one as a paperweight. You’ve been warned. Update— laughable “support” update. Read my review… then support suggested I move the speakers closer …. Or make sure there is nothing between them… THEY ARE LESS THAN 1 METER APART RIGHT NOW. There is exactly ZERO items nada nothing between them. No lights turned on above them. No microwave running. No other Bluetooth devices within a half mile. They are $600/pair junk. Bottom line. Show more

    Great headphones, app needs updates
Aside from all the issues everyone mentions in their reviews as I’ve seen, I hate how the app assumes setting the touch controls from one headphone becomes the master control form both sides so it really takes away the whole point. If I’m going out for a walk then it would be nice to be able to go from ANC to TRA when I need for one side and be able to quickly activate my voice assistant with the other side Show more
