It worked for a year but lately about 30 percent of the time.

I can’t believe I bought this before reading the reviews. Do not buy this app. Half the time the audio doesn’t play, and you need your ringer on for it to work. Would be the best app of its genre but the problem with the sound is almost unbearable.

if you are in the middle of a quiz and go to another app, when you come back there will be no sound no matter what you do. also if you select or deselect an interval that you want to be in the quiz (on the page where you can also listen to the interval) once it’s deselected it cannot be reselected until you go back to home page and start over. also once you finish a quiz it sometimes has no sound. also if someone calls when you’re in the app, you have no sound afterward. sometimes all conditions for sound are met and you still have no sound. this app could be so good. finally an app with ascending & descending intervals, intervals in context, etc but NO! i can’t win … smh Show more

The website version is AMAZING. It’s free and it works perfect. —- The app, however, doesn’t work at all… and it costs money for this broken thing. Safe yourself the money. Use the website. Show more

I purchase the app so I can use it when I don’t have internet. However, if anything happens audio stops. Minor things like moving to the notes app to save screenshots kills the app audio. Show more

This app is wonderful! It’s become less functional though as IOS updates. And now I can’t get the tests to sound out no matter what my settings are or if I restart the app. I think the app just needs a little overhaul and it would be perfect again! Show more

Doesn’t work. I should have read the reviews

I reported the bugs to the developer but he hasn’t responded. If your iPhone silent switch is on you hear no sound. That in itself is ok once you figure it out, but the real bug is more than half the time you hear no sound at all or it is delayed by 10 seconds or more. The windows app on my laptop works great but until these app is fixed it’s not too useful. Please fix it and it will be great. Also, a usability issue- the Hear Next buttons should be at the bottom. Otherwise your finger has to move back and forth covering the choices. Placement of buttons should always be designed to minimize crossings and movements. Show more

Great concept but very glitchy

Developer has done a poor job with this. So many reviews stating difficulty with sound.

Whenever the app plays a note, I hear static, and sometimes it won’t even play the note when I ask it to. It would be fine if it worked properly, but the static ruins the experience and makes it harder to focus on the sound! Show more

This app is simply not working right now. No sound played. Will try to get refund.

Audio will work for a few questions and then stop. App cannot be used.

In my view this app contains a great perfect pitch quiz, while it does have minor glitches, you get what you pay for. Five dollars for a great app containing a real perfect pitch quiz. I mainly really love how the app keeps track of how well each note is comprehended by the user. My main ear training apps I use at the moment are: toned ear, Tenuto, earmaster, and Musicate. Try the headphone jack, my headphones work with it, but it won’t play aloud for some reason.

Just bought this app last night too improve my ability to hear certain tones. Paid $5 for the app, come to find out the app does not work. Sound will not play, even through my up to date I phone X.. Sad that I was so let down with this poor development.. One star until updated.. Show more

I purchased and downloaded this app, I can navigate around the app but it never actually plays a sound. I’ve deleted the app and down loaded it again, still doesn’t work. I’d like my money back! Show more

The app does not work on my iPhone XS. Sent message to company with no response. They just stole my money and kept on trucking.
