    Once you get Sonos installed, works good
    I thought it didn't work at first, but that was because the Sonos speaker I bought from Ikea is wifi and not bluetooth and it was their app I couldnt install on my mac. This app works on my macbook Show more

    Wonderful, wonderful little app.
    I'm constantly managing my Sonos products, and this indespensable app makes doing so incredibly faster than using the native Sonos Mac app. The UI is quick and easy, and the keyboard shortcuts are logical—I rarely actually need to interact with the UI. Between this and the Lyd iPhone/Apple Watch app (also well worth the couple bucks!), I have quick and easy control over my Sonos environment at a moments notice. Does the Sonos app work? Of course. But these apps make the experience in line with what Apple users expect. Bonus: the dev is super nice, and super responsive. Dev: You could easily charge more for this app than you do! Show more

    More of a question than a review
    I love the shortcut in the menu bar, but I'd love to be able to choose music somehow? In the app store, it shows a photo of an expanded window but I don't know how to access that Show more

    Exactly what you're looking for.
    MBC is the best minimal desktop controller for Sonos out there. Easiy to setup and use, it controls your Sonos devices from the menubar with only a few clicks. I wish the Sonos iOS apps worked this well! Show more

    A Better Sonos
    I am blown away by how much better the Sonos experience is using this Mac software and the companion Apple Watch software (with the odd name "Lyd") both written, supported, and continually improved by Alexander Heinrich. If you're listening to music and you have to take a call or quit things down fast it is often not a good time to be fiddling with your phone to control your sound. These aqpps make it easy. And make my life better. Show more

    Very cool, essential for frequent Sonos users
    I am a heavy user of both my Sonos system as well as my iMac and Mac laptop. This is an essential app to quickly group/ungroup speakers, control volume, stop and start music, and select from my Sonos favorites. Only missing is the ability to select music directly from my personal ripped music library and other Sonos streaming services, but I have the original Sonos app for that. The developer is super responsive, but the only issue I've ever had related to a question about multi-home use (which the app did support). Show more

    Finally
    Exactly what I have wished for every since I added my Sonos system. Why can't such basic functionality be added to the the MacOS in the first place? Works beautifully and makes controlling playback on your Sonos system easy and effective. Many thanks to the developer for this. The similar app for the watch works just as well I might add.     Love the concept, some bad bugs
    The idea and visual looks great, especially with the new Big Sur Upgrade. I however have an issue where CPU utiliztion of this app will sky rocket to 100% and stay there...ultimately making my fan take off. This is a real deal killer as the fan is so loud in my new MBP. Show more
