The IMSLP app is a nicely full-featured way to navigate an astonishing internet resource.

I paid for the subscription, thinking this thing was backing up all my downloads and annotations. I had to rebuild my phone and this thing had no recall of all my scores. Weren’t they supposed to be backed up on iCloud? Wasn’t that what I was paying for. You wasted my money and to wasted for more of my time. Get it together. Every time I try to open the app, it immediately crashes

It keep crashing when I use the view to view the part that I’ve downloaded. I’ve reopened it multiple times — same result. I just downloaded today so I have the most current version. Show more

This is the worst app I have ever downloaded. It is the most non-intuitive app I have ever downloaded. I support IMSLP and am a long time paid subscriber, however, after five minutes trying to do a simple download, I removed this app from my devices. I will stick to the on line version. Whoever came up with this over-thought, labyrinthine complex mess must not be a musician and must certainly have never used IMSLP. Show more

I really enjoy using IMSLP! I would recommend it to my fellow musicians and colleagues who play an instrument. I wish I had a bigger screen though. But overall, the app layout and design is to me a 10/10. Show more

Two unexpected things when I first tried this app: - I type “Chopin” in Search, and the auto complete under composers says, “no results”? I hit enter, saw two chopins, chose Fredric, and all was good, but that was not expected. - I did not see a way to print sheet music. Maybe it’s under Export, but I didn’t explore. I would have expected Print right on the main search results. I’m really happy with IMSLP, and the website works fine (better than app) on my iPhone. Show more

This app is an awesome app and can help me and my friends a lot! I’m not too sure about the copywrite thing though. My question is, is it legal to use this app in the USA? The score that i want to download is Csàrdàs by Vittorio Monti, violin. Please help me peeps! Is it legal??? Show more

I have hundreds of downloads on my Ipad and I would like to see them on my phone. Do I need to re-download everything, or is there a way to sync my devices? I’ve logged in with the same account on both but my phone still shows an empty library. Thank you Show more

I’m a contributor, computer-literate, and an IMSLP fan. But the App is not ready for prime time. Odd UI, failures to load and display (on an iPhone, of all things), and in general a disaster compared to the (itself a bit arcane) website. It’s free, so no harm no foul, but it needs considerable improvement to be generally useful. Show more
